Have you ever wondered what the world looks like in the dark? What goes on when all the lights have been switched off, especially in nature? We might ourselves be too scared to go out and search for those answers, but Apple's new 12-part docuseries, 'Earth at Night in Color' will answer those questions. And what's better? Loki himself aka Tom Hiddleston will be narrating the docuseries. The first six episodes of the docu-series will be available to stream in December, so read on to know more details.

The first six episodes of 'Earth at Night in Color' will be available to stream on Apple TV+ on Friday, December 4. The second half will arrive sometime in 2021.

Plot

A landmark natural history series, narrated by Tom Hiddleston, 'Earth At Night In Color' uses next-generation cameras to reveal the nocturnal lives of animals, in color, for the first time ever. Filmed across six continents, from the Arctic Circle to the African grasslands, this pioneering series follows the moonlit dramas of animals at night, revealing new insights and never-before-seen behaviors.

Using cutting-edge cameras and a revolutionary editing process, 'Earth At Night In Color' presents nature's previously unseen marvels with striking new clarity. Captured across six continents, from the Arctic Circle to the African grasslands, this pioneering work follows the moonlit lives of animals at night, revealing new insights and never-before-seen behaviors into some of our favorite species' nocturnal habits. The show will also introduce relatively unknown creatures who are sure to become new icons of the animal kingdom.

Tom Hiddleston

Tom Hiddleston is an English actor best known for playing the character Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in films such as 'Thor' (2011), 'The Avengers' (2012), 'Thor: The Dark World' (2013), 'Thor: Ragnarok' (2017), 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018) and 'Avengers: Endgame'. His credits also include 'War Horse'. 'The Deep Blue Sea', 'Midnight in Paris', 'Only Lovers Left Alive' and 'The Night Manager'.
