'Dynasty' Season 3 Episode 3: Fallon is the only redeemable Carrington left on the show as Blake takes the easy way out

After Fallon was sentenced to 100 hours of community service last week, this week's episode sees her trying her best to find redemption

In the second episode of the 'Dynasty' reboot, we saw that Fallon Carrington was sentenced to 100 hours of community service. This week, we saw Fallon taking the punishment in her stride and dedicating herself to the work. Despite her many naysayers, Fallon donned that bright orange vest and revamped the community garden. She even tries to meet Trixie's mother to talk to her, only to run into Trixie's brother Evan.

Unfortunately, her garden ends up being destroyed and, though she initially suspected animals or her obsessed brother Adam, it turned out that it was Evan trying to get back at her. He felt that the punishment meted out to Fallon wasn't enough.

Fallon admits to Evan that she agrees and that she was hoping by doing this she could "cleanse her soul" and take away a small part of the guilt she feels over Trixie's death. The two seek forgiveness from each other. This even leads to a tender moment between the two. Evan leans in to kiss her but Fallon stops him because she still remains committed to Liam, even though he doesn't remember her.

Elsewhere in the episode, Adam continues to be disturbingly obsessed with Fallon as he dresses up as Louis XVI for Carrington Halloween party when Fallon had dressed up as Marie Antoinette.

However, his hold over Blake has decreased as the Carrington patriarch finally agreed with Fallon that his son is weirdly obsessed with his daughter, and has decided to trust Crystal more than Adam since Crystal helped plot his release from prison. The newlywed Carrington wife slipped her husband a shiv on a conjugal visit, which was then given to another inmate by Blake on the promise of a payout. And so Blake was released on parole but will be held on house arrest.

With Blake and Crystal now up against Adam, the eldest Carrington sibling may have to watch his back. Fallon may have been no match for him with respect to deviousness, but with Blake and Crystal on her side, Adam is sure to be kicked out of the Garden of Eden that the Carrington Manor is.

'Dynasty' airs on The CW on Friday nights.
