'Dynasty' Season 3 Fall Finale sees Elaine Hendrix debut as the third face of Alexis Carrington and fans love it!
The fall finale of Season 2 of 'Dynasty' aired this week and the episode ended with a couple of cliffhangers, including one that left Liam Ridley's life in danger as he and Fallon learn that Adam is not blind anymore
The second cliffhanger featured Alexis Carrington's much-awaited return to the show as the character left Atlanta at the end of last season with Fallon's face. Alexis has gotten another plastic surgery and now the character will be played by Elaine Hendrix
Hendrix, best known for her role in 'The Parent Trap', has acted with Elizabeth Gillies -- who plays Fallon Carrington -- previously in 'Sex & Drugs & Rock& Roll' and though we only got to see a few seconds of Hendrix in the role that is competing with the role of Crystal Carrington for most actresses playing them, fans are already excited about Hendrix's turn as the devious character.
One fan tweeted, "I cannot freaking wait to see more of @elaine4animals as Alexis. That entrance alone made me in love with her #Dynasty." Another added, "That little smirk after reintroducing herself to the world. I already love @elaine4animals as the new Alexis. #Dynasty." Another viewer wrote, "let me say I really loved Nicolette as Alexis but the vibe that @elaine4animals gave off made me feel like this season will be GOOD. #dynasty."
Of course, we got to learn something else in this episode. Alexis Carrington is not just a Carrington anymore, she is also a Colby as it seems like she and Jeff Colby have tied the knot. One viewer tweeted, "Like mother, like daughter. Fallon almost married Jeff, and now Alexis did. Sharing is caring (even with potential spouses)!! #Dynasty."
We certainly know there is no love lost between the two characters but we can assume they certainly have something up their sleeves as Blake Carrington's trial is set to continue in the next episode which will air in January 2020.
'Dynasty' will return with new episodes on January 17th, 2020.
