Ryan Singleton knew he was destined for greatness, for something bigger than his Georgia, Atlanta life. It was why he moved to New York and why he then moved to Los Angeles. It may have also been why he got married to celebrity stylist Kithe Brewster, a relationship that would later be revealed as a troubling one by his friends and family. Unfortunately, Singleton achieved the fame he sought in death when his body was found in the Mojave Desert, with his eyes, heart, lungs, and other organs missing. Singleton was just 24 years old.

Before he disappeared, Singleton had left for Las Vegas from Atlanta for a weekend trip. He had been home only for a few months after separating from Brewster. As he was driving to Los Angeles from Las Vegas, his car broke down in Death Valley. The California Highway Patrol picked him up as he was wandering down the road and dropped him off at a gas station nearby. From there, he placed a call to his mother, Iris Flowers, and to Kithe Brewster. When his friend reached the gas station, Singleton was nowhere to be found. His body was found 74 days later.

Singleton's life and death is the subject of Bounce's first-ever docuseries 'Dying To Be Famous: The Ryan Singleton Mystery'. The six-part docuseries premieres on November 1 and features interviews of Singleton's mother and his friends. It was with his friends that Singleton had first moved to New York, and then subsequently Los Angeles. The group of four men had big plans: they wanted to make it big, and Singleton was their star. The guys were ardent fans of the television show 'Entourage' and called themselves the 'Black Entourage'.

The Black Entourage consisted of Singleton, Jared Davis, Lance Cospy, and Antonio "TD" Faison. The leader of the group was Faison, who was the oldest among them. He viewed Singleton as a son and states in the docuseries that Singleton helped build the bond between him and his children while he was going through a custody battle when they first met. It is clear from the docuseries that Faison was the one with all the ideas and possibly the first to put forward the plans to move to New York and then Los Angeles. He was even called "intense" by Davis.

Jared Davis was described as the "Johnny Drama" of the group, "with extra drama." Davis and Singleton were of the same age. He was described as an army brat, having moved around a lot as a child and found it hard to make friends. Davis was told by his sister to figure his life out, and that's how he ended up meeting Faison, who was dating his sister at the time.

Cospy was called the "Turtle" of the group. He wanted to be an entrepreneur. Unfortunately, Cospy was the first to leave the group after they moved to Los Angeles. His partying ways clashed with the rest of the team and they felt he lacked the discipline to achieve what they wanted. Now, Cospy works as a forklift operator for FedEx in Atlanta, according to his LinkedIn profile. Of course, Ryan Singleton was the star of the group — it was clear that he was the "Vance" and the group relied on Singleton's looks to get them opportunities. In New York, with the help of Faison's contacts, he booked spots during New York Fashion Week and it was clear that he had much more ahead of him.

'Dying To Be Famous: The Ryan Singleton Mystery' premieres on Bounce on Sunday, November 1, at 9/8c.
