'Dancing with the Stars' season 27 winner: How Bobby Bones, the most undeserving finalist, is taking the Mirrorball home

Bobby Bones might have been able to charm his way through the competition and charmed the Mirrorball trophy too, but he is surely not the deserving one here - especially not after the performances presented tonight!

ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' season 27 has a new champion and by the looks of it, it's not going to rest well with fans. At the end of its two hour long finale night that aired on Monday, November 19, 'DWTS ' announced who will be taking home the coveted Mirrorball trophy, and that lucky, extremely blessed champ is Bobby Bones!

Now, when we say lucky, of course, we don't mean to be harsh, because let's be real - 'Grocery Store' Joe Amabile was the luckiest one in the competition, yet the semi-finale night didn't work in his favour. But there's more in common between Joe and radio host Bobby than just their exceptionally brilliant luck.

The two of them also would often switch spots right at the bottom of the scoreboard but never faced a single day in jeopardy (that is until Joe landed in there last week) because of a diligent and ardent, and most importantly, vast fanbase. It was pretty much the sole basis of their progress on the show.

But then again, Bobby advancing further than Joe - as naive as it might sound considering audience votes - also had a remote bit to do with the impressive amounts of effort the radio personality would put into his rehearsals. That, and his neverending wit and charm kind of wagoned his journey on until he landed in the finals, with some pretty heavy opponents.

And when we say heavy, we mean people with more than just one perfect score in their stay in the finals. Alongside Bobby and his pro-partner Sharna Burgess, competing in the finals were Evanna Lynch and pro Keo Mostepe, Alexis Ren and pro Alan Bersten, and Milo Manheim and pro Witney Carson. Point to remember: Both Alexis and Milo have been consistently performed well on the show, and as for Evanna, she has been the one to show the greatest amount of progress and evolved as a dancer the most.

Whereas Bobby - with all his infectious energy and thrill - was always the one bordering along 20 out of 30s when it came to judges scores. Bobby tried, he really did. The man skipped out on a Disneyland visit organized for the contestants, just to concentrate on his rehearsals. But sadly, when it came to his opponents in the finals, if purely dance and technicalities are to be considered, Bobby fell short by a really long mark.

Having established that, certain fans have also pointed out that the entire DWTS journey is about the progress of non-dancers in the art of dancing. And if that's taken into consideration, sure, Bobby has come a long way. Still, him winning when brilliant performers like Juan Pablo Di Pace, or Tinashe got voted off the competition all because of its audience doesn't seem all that right.

So, DWTS season 27's Bobby Bones might have been able to charm his way through the competition and charmed the Mirrorball trophy too, but he is surely not the deserving one here - especially not after the performances presented tonight!
