'DWTS' Queen Night: Fans slam judges for repeatedly giving Amanda Kloots low scores
If there is one thing that can be said about Amanda Kloots, it's that she is a multi-talented woman. For 'Queen Night', Kloots was all set to give it her best, seeing that she has always been a fan and loves how their music fills the listener with energy. She often plays the band's songs during the fitness classes she conducts and this week was the right time to put her stamina to the test.
Kloots and pro Alan Bersten dancing the Jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now'. When it came to the group relay, Kloots, Suni Lee and Melora Hardin performed a Viennese Waltz to 'We Are The Champions'.

However, despite having put up a good performance, the judges came down hard on Kloots yet again. Len Goodman chided them for sneaking in a lift and stated that he wanted to see more in general. Carrie Ann Inaba agreed that if Kloots wants to win, she was going to have to keep pushing herself. Derek Hough pointed out that since Kloots set such a high bar for herself, the judges have come to expect the same each time. For him, the entire performance lacked finesse.
Bruno Tonioli was the only one who disagreed and even went as far as to stand on the table, declaring that it was brilliant. The judges scored her 33 out of 40 and having earned an additional 1 point during the group relay, her final score was 34. Fans argued that the judges were being too harsh on Kloots and the performance deserved a much higher score.
"The judges are so hard on Amanda! I watched the dance twice and it was amazing! #DWTS #DancingwiththeStars #AmandaKloots @amandakloots" tweeted a user. "I seriously wonder if the judges want Amanda to go out there and do splits in the air, walk on her hands, or do 32 fouettes into a side aerial into a split. Their criticism never has anything constructive to it." asked another. "I’m not even kidding if it weren’t for the relay dances tonight I would have changed the channel after those judges comments & scores for Amanda #dwts" declared a fan. "Amanda and Alan Jive If I'm being brutally honest, they were very underscored. I believe Amanda did super great with the dance in general. Sure it wasn't as wow as many recognizable jives are, but it has great technique content and the energy was great #DWTS" pointed out a user.
