'DWTS' Season 30: Cody Rigsby praised for fun tango, pelotoners rush to vote for him

Fitness guru Cody Rigsby shows his athleticism in a stunning tango performance on 'DWTS' Season 30

Season 30 of 'Dancing With The Stars' is here and the premiere was all about this season's celebrity lineup showcasing their talent on the main stage. As always, the stars were a mixed bag of celebrities, each with their own unique talent that gives them an added edge when it comes to their performances.

One of the contestants is Cody Rigsby, a dancer and an instructor by profession. He works as an instructor at Peloton and is also considered as one of the best instructors and many people also say that he brings energy and authenticity in everything he does. In the season premiere he is paired with pro Cheryl Burke. The pair performed a Tango to the song 'Physical' by Dua Lipa for their debut. Read on to know more about the performance.

The judges were quite appreciative of the performance. Judge Carrie Ann called the dance fabulous with great energy only asking Rigsby to relax a bit giving them a score of 6. Judge Glenn said Cody showed a lot of promise and presence with him being a contestant to watch out for. He gave him a score of 6. Judge Derek kept it short calling the performance super fun and entertaining giving a score of 6. Judge Bruno said it was great performance and that he loved it telling Rigsby that he'll be great ahead. He gave a score of 6 as well bringing the total to 24 out of 40.  Fans and viewers of the fitness guru had his back and loved the performance expressing their enthusiasm to vote for him.

Here's how fans reacted. A fitness enthusiast shared how she voted for Rigsby. She tweeted,"Doing my peloton civil duty @onepeloton #CodyRigsby #DancingWiththeStars #DWTS. Another user asked voters to cast their vote for him tweeting out," Vote for Cody!!! @CodyRigsby". Another fellow pelontoner commented," Way to make us Pelotoners proud @CodyRigsby! Please fold in some Britney in weeks to come. @onepeloton."

A viewer also shared their love for the pairing tweeting,"@CherylBurke and @CodyRigsby#FTW Whatta great couple!!! #Perfection #DWTS So awesome." A user further said," I definitely maxed out my votes for @CodyRigsby today'.  A viewer was seen appreciating the song choice saying," Cody Rigsby doing physical by DUA lipa is literally so on brand #dwts the best #peloton song there is!".
