The six-member K-pop group, DreamNote, made their debut in the year 2018 with their first single album, ‘Dreamlike’, and have been coming up with dreamy comebacks ever since. The group released their third single album, ‘Dream Wish’ in January of 2020 and has been missing in action ever since. Fans of the group were hopeful that they would be able to see the members release new music but the group was on a long hiatus.

Early in October, the group announced its upcoming comeback with the single album, ‘Dreams Alive’ which got many of their fans excited for a new release from their faves. With the new album, ‘Dreams Alive’, the members of the group are expected to kickstart something new and show their new personas that will explore the hidden talents of the six members. This will change the dreamy lovely perception fans had for the girls since their debut.

Release date

DreamNote’s fourth single-album ‘Dreams Alive’ will be released on October 26 at 6 pm KST (5 am ET).

How to listen

The single album will be released on all major music streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, MelOn, and more.

The album will have ‘Ghost’ as the title track of the album and the song will release in two versions, a studio as well as an instrumental version for the song. The title song ‘Ghost’ contains a thriller as well as an occult vibe that reveals a new image hidden inside a girl on the night of a full moon.

In addition to the title song, the album contains a b-side track ‘Night’ that replicates their statement retro sound and gives off an exciting city pop rhythm with DreamNote's warm voice harmonizing. The song talks about how when you love someone truly, you can overcome all difficulties and fears. The third song on the album is ‘More Than Today’ is a ballad that talks about a strong will to exist.

Concept

Unlike the other songs that DreamNote has performed so far, 'Dreams Alive' breaks away from the group's stereotypical bright and cheerful girlish image while highlighting a dark and majestic sound as well as a powerful choreography. While talking about the album during its press release, DreamNote members said that the concept for this album is different from their previous works because the songs on this album are so unique. They said that it took them very long to practice.

Teaser

DreamNote released the teasers for their title track ‘Ghost’ and fans are enthralled with the upbeat music as well as the choreography. The concept of the song reveals each one of the members as part of a different fantasy. This fantasy will be unveiled and explored in the music video as each member of the group explores their fantasy story.
