UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: Dr Sandra Lee pushes, squeezes, and pops her way back to the hideous. In Episode 4 of 'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9, Dr Lee meets a patient who is suffering from a painful bulge behind his eye.

Dr Lee, an American Internet personality and board-certified dermatologist, has become a household figure on television with the debut of her own show, 'Dr Pimple Popper'. Dr Lee, who has had a long and successful career, began expanding her reputation in 2010 by producing a video on her YouTube about her employment as a dermatologist. In a new season of 'Dr Pimple Popper,' which is now showing on TLC, Dr Lee gives all the gruesome details behind some of her most difficult pops, including personal excavation films of blackheads so large and cysts so goopy that they must be seen to be believed. In the forthcoming episode, a guy called Cedric sought the help of the TLC doctor to end his misery.

Who is Cedric?

The forthcoming episode promises to illustrate patients' incredible changes and emotional journeys. Patients will be free of unpleasant bumps and lumps for good. Cedric, who is bothered by his bumps and lumps, visits Dr Lee to get rid of them. Cedric's health issues had stopped him from working, which was impacting his income. He informs the cameras that he has a 'knob' beneath his right eye and a massive 'knob' on his neck which has been there for over a decade. He says that it always pains him while revealing his suffering.

To make matters worse, Cedric reportedly has diabetes, which he denies being monitored at all. Cedric experienced seizures at one point as a result of his failure to keep his glucose levels under control. Given it is a high risk to perform surgery with a high glucose level, Cedric becomes one of Dr Lee's most complicated cases.

What happened to Cedric on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

When he visits Dr Lee, she examines Cedric's lumps closely. On closer inspection, she notices that the bulge on the neck glides around well, but still feels thick. When Dr Lee examines the bulge beneath Cedric's eye, she inquires whether it used to be firmer. Cedric claims the bump has always been soft. Dr Lee believes that, while the bumps move around beautifully, they appear dense, implying that they have grown in a very small space.

Cedric informs Dr Lee that he is presently taking insulin. Dr Lee was astounded to find that Cedric may not be keeping a close watch on his glucose levels as he should when she asked him whether he was carrying his glucose testing machine. Cedric claims that the "finger sticks" cause severe pain in his fingertips since they need you to prick your finger with a little gadget called a lancet. Dr Lee voiced her concern to Cedric, telling him that he will be unable to treat his diabetes unless his glucose levels are checked. She advised him to take his testing machine and insulin with him everywhere he went.

"I am in shock over what I am hearing with Cedric," Dr Lee later tells the cameras. He has diabetes, but he doesn't even monitor his levels, which she compares to "driving around with your car with no working gas gauge. You don't know how much gas you have left in your car or whether you're going to stall." She goes on to say that having a glucose level that is too high or too low is quite dangerous.

Dr Lee begins by bringing Cedric in to get his glucose levels checked. This would establish if he is in a position to have surgery. Cedric reveals in his confessional that he didn't think his glucose levels would be a concern in having the procedure from Dr Lee. He leaves his final hope in the hands of Dr Lee, blaming himself for failing to do "his part."

Where is Cedric now after 'Dr Pimple Popper'?

Cedric did not check his levels on a daily basis. After his readings at Dr Lee's, the level registered 232, which surprised the doctor. Cedric bumps are slowing him down, so putting the level under control felt critical. Dr Lee wasn't messing around with Cedric's type 2 diabetes.

Cedric returns to Dr Lee, claiming to be checking his numbers daily. His most recent level was 144. Dr Lee removed his second lipoma after first removing the little bulge beneath his eye. Cedric seemed relieved.
