'Dr Pimple Popper' Season 9: Where is Katherine now? Dr Lee removes tiny 'brain' from patient's ear
UPLAND, CALIFORNIA: 'Dr Pimple Popper' returns with a new episode this week on Wednesday, April 26. So let's take a look at what she has on her hands in Episode 4, featuring patient Katherine, who has a 'brain on her ear.' The TLC show keeps viewers captivated with Dr Sandra Lee's assortment of squeezes and pops, which delivers hours of enjoyment.
Dr Lee restores the ugly physical form by pushing, squeezing, and popping. She goes under the name Dr Pimple Popper and claims it's common to encounter patients who have had something growing beneath their skin for 10, 15, and occasionally even 20 years before she pushes it out. One of the most well-known dermatologists in the world, she is well-known for her can't-look-away 'Dr Pimple Popper' program on TLC. When it comes to skin problems and growths, there is nothing this skin specialist hasn't seen, squeezed out, or mercilessly picked at and yanked out with a tweezer. In a new season of 'Dr Pimple Popper', which is currently showing on TLC, Dr Lee gives all the graphic details behind some of her most challenging pops, including personal excavation films of enormous blackheads and gooey cysts that must be seen to be believed.

Who is Katherine?
Katherine describes the "brain-like" protrusion on her ear as scratchy, with ridges, and even creeps her out. Katherine's friend then quipped that she had two brains and that she is 'gifted'. Katherine, on the other hand, hasn't always had "two brains." She claims the doctor chopped off a portion of her right ear ten years ago. Of course, she assumed that was the end of it and that she would never have to see or think about it again. Sadly, it reappeared after two years. Katherine then proceeded to consult a dermatologist, who told her that cutting it out would disfigure her ear.
Although Dr Lee's multitude of pops and squeezes keeps viewers delighted and happy, anecdotes from the patients may get emotional, as Katherine claims her bump is harming her work. The TLC patient works as a neighborhood watch and does not want the cluster to be visible on stage or in photographs if her hair blows back. She claims it's embarrassing and damaging to her confidence, and she's scared she won't be able to do her work if it grows much worse.

What happened to Katherine on 'Dr Pimple Popper'?
Dr Lee, speaking about the patient, said she finds ear bumps 'exciting' since they're tough owing to all the dips and elevations. Of course, the TLC doctor works her magic as she examines the bulge, which she refers to as a "little caterpillar." She then concludes that it is a Seborrheic Keratosis, which she refers to as "wisdom spots."
Dr Lee describes the bump as having a Cerebriform Verrucous look, which is a brain-like warty appearance. Since it is on the cartilage, Dr Lee warns the patient that removal may ruin the ear and, in her words, "make it look like a boxer has taken a bite out of your ear." She then informed Katherine that she can't tell her exactly how she'll fix it right now, but viewers will have to have full faith in her!
Where is Katherine now after 'Dr Pimple Popper'?
Nicole, Katherine's adoring daughter-in-law, accompanied her to Dr Lee. She has been by her side throughout her journey and encounters with former physicians. On her third try with a doctor, Katherine finally found some comfort. She could finally leave her "ear brain" in Upland and return to her neighborhood watch position, prouder than ever. Weeks later, Katherine's ear is shown to be normal.
