'RHOC': Dr Jen dubbed 'toxic' by fans after she humiliates husband Ryne on show

'RHOC' fans felt sorry for Ryne and accused Dr Jen of being 'toxic' and the 'problem' in their marriage

After learning about Dr Jen Armstrong's marital issues with her husband Ryne Holliday, Heather Dubrow decided to intervene and help out the couple's troubled marriage. The recently aired episode of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' featured Heather and her husband Dr Terry Dubrow hosting a dinner party for Jen and Ryne. The Dubrows invited a couple of their close friends who are in a happy marriage to the party as well, with the hopes that Jen and Ryne would learn a thing or two about happy marriages by the end of the night.

Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a fun and light-hearted dinner party, became a 'cringefest' of sorts for not just the Dubrows and the guests, but also the audience after watching Dr Jen and Ryne's 'cringeworthy' and 'awkward' interactions with each other. A very shy and introverted Ryne was visibly uncomfortable at the party, but still soldiered on and stayed back for the dinner for his wife's sake. On the other hand, Dr Jen got a little too drunk and began embarrassing herself and her husband by instructing him on how to sit and how to behave at the party in front of the other guests.

After watching his wife's excessive drinking, Ryne quietly got up from the table and walked away from her. While Jen continued her drinking rampage. The Dubrows concluded that Jen and Ryne's marriage was 'messy', while fans felt that it was probably for the best if the couple got divorced instead of suffering in their incompatible relationship. A fan tweeted, "That was the most awkward dinner party I’ve ever seen. I had to walk out of the room out of embarrassment for drunk Jen and awkward Ryne. They seem so opposite sometimes it’s ok to let go of a relationship if it’s not meant to be. #RHOC." Another fan wrote, "I rooted for Shannon and David more than I ever would for Jen and Ryne.
