'Doubling Down With the Derricos': The Derricos take on Disney World as Deon plans vow renewal
When it comes to traveling with the Derricos, one thing is for sure: the planning always has to be meticulous. After all, going out into public with 14 children in tow can certainly result in a few mishaps. Luckily, Karen and Deon, with a little help from family and friends are always on top of their game.
So far, on 'Doubling Down With the Derricos', fans have seen the family travel to South Carolina and back, go over skating, and even take on fun Halloween activities. And now, it looks like they are off on their next adventure — to Disney World!

While the Derricos were all excited to take on Disney World, including Karen, Deon certainly came extremely prepared, insisting that the family go through an itinerary before hitting up all the rides. According to him, going over the place systematically was key, with four parks to cover. Not everyone was a fan of the plan; however, seeing that Deon wanted to propose to Karen and renew their vows, time was clearly of the essence. Even Karen noted that planning and prep was hardly the way to go about a theme park experience, but it was probably the best way for a family as large as hers.
On entering Disney World, the kids were absolutely thrilled, pointing at all the attractions and characters they saw along the way. It is safe to say the adults were just as excited, with Deon joining the kids on the rides and making the most of it. And, of course, the vow renewal was also something to look forward to, especially after Karen's previous miscarriage.
The situation proved to have taken a toll on her mental health, with her finally agreeing to go see a therapist. During this appointment, Karen opened up about her first miscarriage sent her to a very dark place and how every time it happened, she felt as though she needed to be pregnant to feel whole again. She had a tough conversation with her therapist regarding these emotions, so this trip and vow renewal certainly came at the right time, allowing her to take her mind off what happened.
