Disney+ 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' is ready to say final goodbye with third and final season
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Star Wars' is one of the ever-expanding franchises and for a show that takes place in a galaxy far away, the show surely expands in all forms of content. From the 'Star Wars' trilogy to the Disney+ TV shows like 'The Book of Boba Fett' and the ongoing 'The Mandalorian', the saga continues. However, in the recent light of events, there has been a bitter-sweet surprise for 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' fans regarding the upcoming season.
'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' is one of the well-received animated series for the 'Star Wars' franchise. The spin-off from 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars', the Disney+ series has a wonderful cast of Michelle Ang as Omega, Dee Bradley Baker as The Bad Batch/ Wrecker, Rhea Perlman as Cid, Ian McDiarmid as the Emperor, Jimmi Simpson as Doctor Royce Hemlock, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, Noshir DalalVice as Admiral Rampart, Dee Bradley Baker as Tech and Helen Sadler as Doctor Scalder.

One final run of 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch'
While Season 2 has been released on January 4, 2023, with a total of 16 episodes, Season 3 is said to be getting released much sooner than expected. According to Daily Mail, the third season has been confirmed, although bad news for The Bad Batch fans as the upcoming season would be the last and final season of the Dianey+ animated show. During Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, on Monday, it has been announced at the Bad Batch Panel by executive producers Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Athena Portillo that 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' season 3 will air on Disney+ in 2024.

An exclusive teaser trailer was shown on the panel, which detailed the Emperor (Palpatine) visiting Dr Royce Hemlock. Emperor says, "It is imperative that this facility remain secure. Your brilliance is a great asset to this Empire." Then every member of the Bad Batch is seen, with Hunter addressing the capture of Omega by the Emperor. Hunter adds, "Omega’s been waiting for us. I’m not making her wait another day." We then see Omega and Crosshair, still in custody with Imperial Forces. Omega adds, "I’m not giving up, Crosshair. I won’t leave you, either. You’re my brother". Then the clip also shows glimpses of Republic commandos, clones, Rex and the fan-favorite bounty hunter, Fennec Shand.
'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' follows the storyline of the Clone Force 99, the genetically mutated clone army, who were first introduced in the 2008 animated TV series, 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars'. 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' follows the elite clones, Clone Force 99, and takes place in the events after Order 66 and the rise of the Empire. While Season 2 ended with a shocking twist the death of Tech, the capture of Omega and the revelation that Omega has a sister, it would be interesting to know what the upcoming final season has in store for us.
