IOWA, NASHVILLE: Lately, Robbie Wolfe has received a lot of flak online for replacing Frank Fritz on 'American Pickers' Season 25.

At the moment, Robbie is focusing on a new venture away from History's longtime running show that revolves around antique pieces.

On January 7, 2024, the History Channel star took to his Instagram page and announced a new project.

In the social media post, Robbie discussed an upcoming event that is set to take place in Iowa during August. The Americana Weekend will consist of individuals displaying and selling antique items, vintage cars, and other historical artifacts.

The video started with Robbie driving into the scene in an old car and then coming out to say hello to his supporters.

In the clip, Robbie said, "Don't forget, Bettendorf Americana's coming up August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. You need to get your vendor spaces in, and if you're going to show a car, hit us up and let us know."

The TV personality went on to say, "If you're coming from afar we love that, we got guys coming from California, South Dakota, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Idaho. Reach out... we'll see you there."

Why was Frank Fritz fired from ‘American Pickers’?

Frank Fritz had a stroke a year after getting fired from 'American Pickers.' He made his last appearance on the show in March 2020 before taking a break to recover from back surgery.

Despite wanting to return to the show after his recovery, Frank was replaced by Robbie Wolfe, Mike Wolfe's brother.

After being fired from the show in July 2021, Frank publicly claimed that he had not been contacted by Mike, despite their childhood friendship.

This revelation coincided with a significant decrease in viewership, with the show attracting less than a million viewers for the first time in years. Many viewers believed that the absence of Frank was the reason for this decline.

However, ratings have continued to drop with every passing episode.
