For any 'Real Housewives' franchise lover, the best part about Bravo's hit series is the reunion. The reunion which is filmed towards the end of the season not only provides the audience an opportunity to ask the housewives any lingering questions they might have in their mind from the season but also to watch all the drama amongst the housewives unfold under the same roof.

Usually, these reunions have traditionally been filmed at a studio and have ended up giving us several iconic moments like the ladies angrily storming off the stage, or even dragging each other by the hair across the stage. But thanks to the dreaded Covid-19 the reunions were taped virtually. But once the quarantine restrictions were eased Bravo once again began filming the reunion in-person but with several safety measures and precautions in place. So when 'Real Housewives of Dallas' cast members were all set to film their reunion, fans were very excited to watch the juicy drama amongst the Dallas housewives. But turns out the housewives got caught up in a drama of their own even before the reunion filming began as Kary Brittingham reportedly tested positive for Covid-19 and it was all chaos.

It all began when self-proclaimed 'Real Housewives' scholar David Quinn tweeted on Thursday (April 8) about us getting to witness something that has never happened before in any of the housewives reunions on the upcoming 'RHOD' reunion. He tweeted, "I can say without exaggeration that we’re going to see something at the #RHOD reunion this year we’ve never seen at a Housewives reunion before." Fans immediately began wondering what that could be as we have seen many unbelievable scenes play out at the housewives' reunion.

An Instagram account called 'The Bravo Guru' finally managed to get the tea on the big surprise element. Kary Brittingham reportedly tested positive for Covid-19. She was reportedly seated next to Brandi Redmond and her newborn baby on their plane to New York where they would be filming the reunion. So, Kary and Brandi had to virtually film the reunion from their hotel rooms, while the other ladies filmed live. When fans heard about it, they were immediately concerned for Brandi and her newborn.

A fan tweeted, "Good lord. Her newborn?" Another fan slammed Kary for her 'selfish and irresponsible behavior' with, "How selfish and irresponsible."

Fans were also fuming at Kary for 'ruining' the 'RHOD' reunion. A fan commented, "So Kary got covid and ruined the whole #RHOD reunion." Another angry fan shared, "OK WAIT HOLD ON if they had to virtually film the #RHOD reunion because of Kary I am unstanning her! Her stupid ass had a big filming event coming up in two weeks and her dumb ass couldn’t quarantine the days leading up to it? STUPID she ruined it."
