It was the 'Haute Hair' challenge on 'Project Runway' and the remaining six designers in the competition were tasked with working in collaboration with a hairstylist to design an outfit that complimented the hair design on the model already created by the stylist. The designers would have to make sure that the finished look highlighted the creative vision of both the hairstylists and theirs.

As usual Chasity Sereal managed to impress the judges with her stunning design that was dubbed as 'Black Girl Magic' by the judges- Nina Garcia, Elaine Welteroth, Brandon Maxwell and guest judge Precious Lee, securing her third win in the competition! While Chasity earned rave reviews from the judges, unfortunately, Coral Castillo and Aaron Michael's designs failed to impress the judges, landing them in the bottom two. After some deliberation, the judges decided to eliminate Aaron as they felt that his outfit looked very disjointed from the hairstyle.

Even though Aaron took his elimination in his stride and left the competition feeling proud of all his accomplishments in the competition, fans however were left fuming at the judges' decision. Several fans took to Twitter to call out the judges for eliminating Aaron in place of Coral. A fan tweeted, "#projectrunway I can't believe they let Aaron go...there were much worse outfits. Most of them sux'd." Another fan wrote, "Aaron was in the top SO many times, he doesn't deserve to go home #ProjectRunway." "What?! I can’t believe Aaron is out on #ProjectRunway his look met the challenge more than Coral’s and yet he’s eliminated…," commented a shocked fan.

Another fan shared, "Wrong person eliminated. Coral should have gone. I also don't get the love for Kristina's look. It was a shapeless mass of material that made a beautiful plus size woman look like a blob. Aaron should have stayed. #ProjectRunway." "Aaron's look this week was a hot mess, but Coral struggles weekly. They eliminated the wrong designer. #ProjectRunway," seconded a fan. "I’m devastated that Aaron got sent home tonight! Before Coral. I wanted to see his runway! #ProjectRunway," expressed a fan. "Coral has consistently struggled but Aaron gets tossed out after 1 bad look? SMH #ProjectRunway," added a fan.
