'Dead Boy Detectives': Netflix's 'addictive' series leaves fans craving for Season 2

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Dead Boy Detectives' Season 1 just dropped on Netflix, and fans are already hooked, streaming episode after episode.

Based on Neil Gaiman's DC comics, the supernatural teen comedy 'Dead Boy Detectives' follows Edwin Paine (Jayden Revri) and Charles Rowland (George Rexstrew). Although they are dead, they skip the afterlife to solve otherworldly mysteries in the human realm.

Steve Yockey brought 'Dead Boy Detectives' to television, writing the first episode and leading the series as the main showrunner, alongside co-showrunner Beth Schwartz.

The 8-episode series also stars Kassius Nelson, Jenn Lyon, Briana Cuoco, Yuyu Kitamura, Ruth Connell, Lukas Gage, and David Iacono.

'Dead Boy Detectives' wins fans' hearts with its fun yet spooky narrative

Fans took to X to express how 'Dead Boy Detectives' has already captured their hearts, with one saying, "I only saw 1 episode. I'm happy to see more of Neil's thoughts on paper in 3D," while another wrote, "I’ve already watched the first two episodes and I JUST LOVE IT!"
