Spoilers for 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 Episode 15 Finale 'Swan Thong'

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 has gone out with a bang, dropping a kickass finale with action, emotion and an excellent soundtrack. One part of Episode 15 'Swan Thong' that really resonated with the fans was the inclusion of Sisqo's classic track 'The Thong Song'.

In the episode, we find out that the Fate Lachesis (Sarah Strange) has created a history museum demonizing the past and one of the exhibits, housed in the section on bad ideas, is dedicated to 'The Thong Song' by Sisqo, something that Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) takes exception to.

The episode's big fight scene features the song playing in the background and Sisqo himself makes an appearance, dancing to the track while the Legends bash their enemies, to the delight of fans. In an interview with EW, series executive producer Phil Klemmer spoke about how Sisqo was basically the only choice for the episode and revealed how the singer "really saved our butts".

"Sisqo was the first guy," Klemmer said. "I can't remember if we ever panicked and started to come up with a list of second choices. It was pretty much too late by the time we asked him to come do it. We were days away from production. Sisqo really saved our butts. If he had said no, it would've been such a bummer. Not only did he say yes, but he came like ready to do the work. He brought his dragon microphone. He brought his white leather outfit. He was looking, apparently, ageless. That was a nice perk, that Sisqo showed up looking exactly like he did in the '90s music video. Man, dynamite. Ten out of 10."

"And just like for the morale on set," he continued. "You know, you're really hanging on a thread by the time you get to the finale of a superhero show. Once people start whispering that Sisqo is on set, all of a sudden everybody is super-giddy and super-starstruck, and all of sudden you're like, 'This is gonna get us across the finish line. We accidentally are geniuses.'"

What did you think of the finale? Are you planning on adding 'The Thong Song' to your playlists again after this episode? Let us know in the comments.

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 aired its final episode on June 2 at 9 pm ET on The CW.
