'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 dropped a major twist in Episode 13 'I Am Legends' with the deaths of all the Legends except for Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). It was a tragic and emotional twist but we all know it's not going to last very long.

This is 'Legends' we're talking about, after all, and things like death aren't nearly as permanent here as they would be on shows like 'Arrow' and 'Supergirl'. So the only real question is how is Charlie going to bring the team back to the land of the living and it looks like the answer is going to be the most meta thing the show has done in a while.

Because when Episode 14 'The One Where We're Trapped On TV ' gets here, it's not just the Legends who are coming back, they're also reviving 'Star Trek: The Original Series', 'FRIENDS', and 'Downton Abbey'. It's one of the biggest resurrections in television history and since it's 'Legends', we're sure it's going to be a really fun ride.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode reveals that Charlie will work with her evil sisters to use the Loom of Fate, bringing the Legends back and doing something that "goes against her nature". We can only assume that means she's going to let the other Fates rule the new world their making despite her dedication to maintaining free will.

Images from the episode reveal that despite her betrayal of the team, Astra Logue (Olivia Swann) will also be returned to life and the only catch is that Charlie is going to stick her team members in different TV shows to protect them from her sisters. Of course, we're mostly certain they'll all find their way back to the real world by the end of the episode but it should still be a fun watch to see just how they pull it off.

Here's the official synopsis for 'The One Where We're Trapped On TV': "BREAKING FREE – After Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) does the one thing that goes against her nature when it comes to her sisters, she tries to protect the Legends by scattering them in different television shows. Of course, in true Legends style, some can’t just be blissfully ignorant and happy but figure out a way to end up messing with the system. Caity Lotz, Jes Macallan, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Olivia Swann, and Matt Ryan also star. Marc Guggenheim directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & James Eagan."

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5 airs Tuesday at 9 pm ET on The CW. Watch the trailer below:
