'Dancing with the Stars' Season 7 winner Brooke Burke is now engaged to her boyfriend of two years. Burke's new man popped the big question on her 50th birthday and the news got confirmed on Thursday, September 9.
The TV personality, 50, is engaged to her longtime boyfriend, commercial real estate developer Scott Rigsby. The pair have been dating for two years. Scott popped the question after Brooke celebrated her milestone birthday alongside her now-fiance, family and friends. Brooke took to Instagram on Sept 8 to share snaps from the birthday celebration. She looked stunning in a flattering green gown while the TV personality captioned the photos: "VIRGO 💚 Birthday Vibes 💚."

She later shared pictures from the bash where she was seen all joyous and happy. "Following my birthday bliss, so thankful for family, friends & of course birthday cake 🎂 ❤️💋Rigs" Brooke threw her arms in the air as she sat next to a decadent cake, while Scott appeared visibly happy in the background as she smiled and clapped. The slideshow concluded with another photo of the newly engaged couple, as they both smiled and Scott wrapped his arm around the birthday girl. Scott also got a special shoutout in the second post's caption, as Brooke wrote: "Following my birthday bliss, so thankful for family, friends & of course birthday cake 🎂 ❤️💋Rigs."
Who is Scott Rigsby?
Rigsby is one of the founding partners of the Santa Monica-based real estate firm Industry Partners. A 1996 graduate of the University of Arizona, Rigsby holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. According to his bio on the Industry Partners website, Rigsby "offers extensive office and creative space experience, in addition to expertise in the areas of development, design and space planning." Prior to his career at Industry Partners, he has worked at Lee & Associates/West Los Angeles, where he served as the Vice President and was responsible for closing over a million square feet of creative office space.
Just three months after Burke confirmed their relationship, the couple made their red carpet appearance while attending Operation Smile's Hollywood Fight Night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in November 2019. Before they hit the red carpet, she gushed about her then-boyfriend while attending the Women's Guild Cedars-Sinai Annual Luncheon at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel. At the time, Brooke told reporters that her kids "really liked" Scott. She is the mother to son Shaya, 13, and daughter, Heaven Rain, 14, with ex David Charvet. Brooke also shares daughters Sierra, 19, and Neriah, 21, with ex Garth Fisher.
She told reporters: "It is awesome because he is a great father. He has two children and that is one of the things that I love most about him. He is really kind and responsible and devoted, so our kids are getting to know each other." Brooke continued: "It's a big deal, but it is really loving and kind, and I am really happy. He is a sweetheart, a really sweet guy. Yesterday I used the 'B' word. I was like, 'Whoa! Boyfriend?! Babe, do you want to be my boyfriend?!' I had to change his name in my contacts to 'Boyfriend.'"
