If AJ McLean has not been everyone's favorite Backstreet Boys bandmate before today, his performance on 'Dancing With The Stars' tonight (Sept 22) managed to change that. He and his pro-dancer partner Cheryl Burke did the foxtrot and this performance was a dedication to AJ's wife Rochelle DeAnna McLean. The choice of song was 'Ain't that a kick in the head' by Dean Martin which also happens to be Rochelle's favorite song. During rehearsals, he said that even though his wife and he have been together for quite a long time, she still gives him the butterflies and he's just hopelessly in love with her.

AJ and Cheryl's performance was very solid and they really did focus on keeping it more about the dancing and less about the waves and the kicks and the flicks. Judge Bruno Tonioli loved what he saw and he said that he loved the pizzazz in their performance and that they successfully sold it with their routine. However, as a word of advice, Bruno mentioned that the foxtrot is more about gliding and less choppy and that was something that was a little bit off during the performance, while judge Carrie Ann Inaba said that she could feel AJ was less nervous than his first week's performance.

Host Tyra Banks later went on to ask AJ about his wife and that's where he broke down a little bit. He spoke about Rochelle with a lot of pride. He professed his love for her saying she's the most compassionate, caring, amazing woman he's ever met. He went on to call her a superwoman and said he and his kids are lucky to have her in their lives.

AJ managed to wow the audiences watching from home with his performance as well as him being so vocal about his love for Rochelle. "You made Rochelle proud and you made us proud @aj_mclean can’t wait to see you keep rocking it! You will always have my votes. #TeamPrettyMessedUp #DWTS29 #dwts," wrote a fan.  "The way @aj_mclean talks about his wife is straight goals #dwts," wrote another.  "Thank you @aj_mclean for making me cry #teamprettymessedup #dwts hearing you talk about your wife omg," wrote another. "@aj_mclean you were amazing! so proud of you I always go to your shows when I can cause you (and your brothers) truly are entertainers and you just proved everyone tonight!!! Amazing, as always #dwts," wrote another.
