Critics' Choice Awards 2021 Full Presenters List: Gal Gadot, Morgan Freeman, Catherine Zeta-Jones among stars to hand out honors

The first slate of presenters for this year's Critics' Choice Awards has been revealed and it includes some really big names

The awards season is finally upon us and the annual Critics’ Choice Awards are set to take place on March 7. All the nominees will be waiting to get their hands on the beautiful trophy. The show will continue with its combined film and television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement. The star-studded event is also touted as the most accurate prediction of Academy Award nominations.

The 26th annual Critics Choice Awards ceremony will be held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California, and will be broadcast live on The CW television network.

Critics' Choice Awards 2020: 'Avengers Endgame' cast skip award show, fans find it hilarious after award win

The slate of presenters for the ceremony has been announced and it includes some of the biggest names of the entertainment industry. Stars such as Kevin Bacon, Gal Gadot, Chris Hemsworth, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Yara Shahidi, Mads Mikkelsen, Mayim Bialik and Catherine Zeta-Jones will be presenting the awards in different categories.

Kevin Bacon

One of the most prominent stars of this generation, Kevin Bacon has starred in many award-winning films and TV shows. He won the Critics’ Choice award in the Best Actor category for his role in the 1995 movie ‘Murder in the First’. ‘The River Wild’, ‘Taking Chance’, ‘The Following’, ‘I Love Dick’, ‘Hollow Man’, ‘Black Mass’, ‘Patriots Day’ and ‘City on a Hill’ are some of the high-end projects he has appeared on.

Gal Gadot

The ‘Wonder Woman’ will be taking the stage to present the award at the Critics’ Choice Awards. Her first movie as the Amazonian, ‘Wonder Woman’, won the Best Action Movie award in 2018. Additionally, it was nominated for two more awards. Apart from ‘Wonder Woman,’ she has appeared in movies such as ‘Knight and Day’, ‘Fast Five’, ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’, ‘Criminal’ and ‘Triple 9’.

Chris Hemsworth

The mighty Thor will also be presenting an award at the Critics’ Choice Award this year. The actor has been a Critics’ Choice nominee for the movie ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ and was recently also nominated at the inaugural Critics’ Choice Super Awards in the Best Actor in an Action Movie for ‘Extraction’. Hemsworth has also featured in movies such as ‘The Cabin in the Woods’, ‘Red Dawn’, ‘In the Heart of the Sea’ and ‘Blackhat’.

Morgan Freeman

The legendary actor is responsible for portraying some of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema. From ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ to ‘Invictus’, Freeman has enthralled the viewers with his impeccable acting and magical voice. The actor has one Academy Award, two Golden Globes and seven NAACP Image Awards to his credit.

Angela Bassett

Known for her performance as Tina Turner in the biopic ‘What's Love Got to Do with It’, Bassett is truly one of the most talented actors of this generation. She was nominated for an Oscar for her performance. The actress has been nominated for one Golden Globe and six Primetime Emmys during her illustrious career.

Lin-Manuel Miranda

Miranda is known for creating and starring in stage productions that blended modern musical forms with classic musical theatre. The notable personality has been nominated for an Academy Award in 2016 for ‘Moana’ in the Best Original Song category. Earlier this month, he received a nod in Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy category at the Golden Globes for 'Hamilton'.

Yara Shahidi

The 21-year-old actress is known for her role as the eldest daughter Zoey Johnson on the comedy series 'Black-ish’ and its spin-off series ‘Grown-ish’. Time Magazine also included her on 'The 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016' list.

Mads Mikkelsen

The actor started his career by working on various movies and TV shows in the Danish Film Industry. After years of working in the industry, he got his breakthrough role in the James Bond movie ‘Casino Royale’. Since then, the method actor has appeared in projects such as ‘The Hunt’, ‘The Salvation’, ‘Hannibal’, ‘Doctor Strange’, ‘Rogue One’ and ‘Another Round’.

Mayim Bialik

Bialik started her professional acting career in 1987 with TV series ‘Beauty and the Beast’. However, she went on to gain prominence with her portrayal of Amy Farrah Fowler in the hit TV series ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Her most recent project is the series 'Call me Kat'.

Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones needs no introduction. She has given many iconic performances throughout her career and continues to impress everyone with her acting skills. The actress is the recipient of an Academy Award in the Best Supporting Actress category for the movie ‘Chicago’. ‘The Mask of Zorro’, ‘Traffic’, ‘The Haunting’, ‘The Terminal’ and ‘Ocean’s Twelve’ are some of the projects she has worked on.

The winners will be revealed live on The CW on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at 7 pm PT, with acclaimed film, television and stage star Taye Diggs returning to host for his third consecutive time.
