Mason accomplishes a mission that might've killed an ally

On the other hand, Mason has now joined Bernard in a mission to get the ‘X-Case’ from one of Manticore’s facilities. The case would help them in tracking all the remaining members of the Citadel and also has a serum that would bring back all the memories. Mason was about to take the serum when Bernard is shot from behind and Mason has to run for his life. Now, Mason has the briefcase but his vial has broken because of the firing and running. He opens the briefcase and sees that Nadia is in Valencia with no knowledge of who she was before losing the memory.

Mason reaches there and tries to make her understand that she was a ‘Citadel’ spy before she lost her memory. At first, Nadia feels that she is being tricked into something, but a few moments later, Mason gives her proof that she indeed was a spy. He asks her to inject the serum so that she could get her memory back. However, they are attacked by one of the men belonging to Manticore. They both are able to bring the man down and try to get out of the situation. While getting out of the restaurant, they get attacked by one of the Manticore operatives who shoots Mason in his shoulder. He dominates the fight by punching Nadia several times. The fight ends with Nadia injecting the serum in her body and getting to know who she really is. Nadia takes out the person working for Manticore and they both run away.

Nadia knows about her true identity

The episode ends with a massive reveal that Bernard is NOT dead and has been held as a hostage by Dahlia Archer (Lesley Manville).

Now that Manticore knows that Mason and Nadia are alive, they won’t leave any stone unturned to bury them six feet under the ground so that Citadel gets annihilated for once and all. However, Mason and Nadia will do everything to eliminate all the threats. One more thing that stands out is that when she finally learns about the truth, there’s a moment when she realizes that she needs to keep one piece of information away from Mason and quickly realizes that they should move out.

Is Nadia hiding something from Mason? Is she a double agent? We’ll find answers to these questions once Episode 3 arrives.
