Did Chris Williams' ex Mercedes Myrick have miscarriage? Shocking fan theory says duo faked pregnancy on 'MAFS'
When it comes to Chris Williams and his drama, there seems to be no end in sight. Each week of 'Married at First Sight' brings with it a new mess, pushing his new wife Paige Banks to square one. Last week, fans saw what they thought might be a breakthrough. Although Williams went on about how he'd fight to make his marriage work, he abandoned Banks before they could even make it to their new apartment and took off for Chicago to "clear his mind".
Upon his return, he broke the news to Banks that he had decided to stay with his pregnant ex-fiancée and had spoken to a divorce attorney.

Banks was quick to get on the phone with a producer saying that she had suffered enough at his hands and was ready to end the marriage. She even went to Pastor Cal's counseling session alone, seeing that she didn't expect Williams to join her. Williams showed up halfway through and explained that he wanted to raise his son and for the sake of the child, he was to reconcile with his ex-fiancée. Pastor Cal too figured that it was for the best that Banks and Williams call off their marriage. However, the second he left, Williams was quick to tell Banks that he's afraid he might fall for her, clouding her judgment yet again.
This week, we finally got a showdown between Williams, Banks and Mercedes Myrick, the pregnant ex-fiancée. While the three of them discussed where they stand as of now, looks like Reddit had done its fair share of sleuthing. Fans of the show ultimately found out who Williams chose at the end and turns out it is Myrick. As per this Reddit thread, a fan spotted the couple in Cancun in February 2021. Williams reportedly socialized with people who recognized him, while Myrick was seen drinking.
This is where things get a little tricky. Myrick was reportedly pregnant between July and August before Williams could get on the show, seeing that fans saw him receive the news. That should put her in the third trimester, since she's 6-7 months along into her pregnancy. However, at the time the photo was taken in Cancun, fans claimed to have seen Myrick drinking, which is obviously a big no when pregnant. To top it off, Myrick herself recently posted this photo on her Facebook page.
Seeing that the image is dated February 18, 2021, it's safe to say that her birthday was in mid-February. However, her location mentions Atlanta and not Cancun. More importantly, she doesn't look like she is pregnant. This has us asking the big question. Was Myrick pregnant at all? Or did she suffer a miscarriage? More importantly, is the rumor that Williams got Myrick's cousin pregnant and not her ever going to be addressed? There has been no confirmed news about the same yet.
