What goes best with some cherries? Well, some 'American Pie' for starters, or at least, the star of it at any rate. ‘American Pie’ star Jason Biggs will be hosting the new game show ‘Cherries Wild’  a nod to Pepsi’s Wild Cherry soda. ‘Cherries Wild’ has two rounds of trivia gameplay during which contestants will try to “Solve the Slots” to win the $250,000 jackpot. Fox has teamed up with Pepsi earlier as well on shows such as ‘The X Factor’ and ‘Empire’.

While there are still a few days left to go for the 'Cherries Wild' premiere, Pepsi is getting into action now and is unveiling multiple experiences for fans and future viewers who would like to brush up on their trivia skills with the 'Cherries Wild' mobile app. This is of course for viewers who aren't content just screaming the right answers to questions on their screens!

Release date

'Cherries Wild' will debut on Fox on February 14. The series will also air on Hulu as well as Fox's streaming platform Tubi.

Plot

Over the span of an action-packed half hour, ‘Cherries Wild’ will feature two rounds of pop culture trivia gameplay, during which a team of two contestants will try and “Solve the Slots” to get closer to the $ 250,000 jackpot. At the end of each episode, contestants spin a giant wheel and try to capture all five cherries to win the ultimate prize. The trivia questions fall into two categories — “Fact or Fiction” and  “One Big Question”.

‘Cherries Wild’ is the latest show on Fox for ‘American Pie’ star Jason Biggs. Earlier he starred in ‘Outmatched’, the Fox sitcom that was canceled after just one season.
