'Outmatched': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and all you need to know about Fox comedy starring Jason Biggs

Two working-class parents have their hands full - more so than other parents - while they battle it out raising their uber-intelligent children.

A family sitcom about the lives of ordinary parents trying to parent their extraordinary kids in South Jersey, 'Outmatched', a comedy, is coming to FOX January end. With Jason Biggs and Maggie Lawson bringing the funny, the quirkiness of family life is plotted into the feel-good storyline. After 'nurturing their gifts' and 'encouraging their natural curiosity' they now have geniuses to raise and it's more than a bit of a challenge.

Release date

'Outmatched' is set to premiere on January 23, 2020.

Plot

Cay, a casino pit boss and Mike, her husband, and handyman have the joy of raising children - geniuses with high IQ's. While they themselves barely got through high school, they try to bring 'normalcy' back to their kid's lives, although, they are in way over their heads with Einsteins to raise.

Cast

The cast includes Jason Biggs as Mike, Maggie Lawson as Cay, Tisha Campbell-Martin as Rita and Finesse Mitchell as Irwin.

Jason Biggs, an American actor, and comedian is known for his role in the 'American Pie' comedy series as Jim Levenstein and his role in 'Orange Is The New Black' (OITNB) as Larry Bloom. His other works include 'Saving Silverman', 'Eight Below', 'Over Her Dead Body', and 'My Best Friend's Girl'. He was nominated in1995 for the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role in 'As the World Turns' - a soap opera.

Tisha Campbell

Tisha Campbell-Martin is widely known for her hilarious role as Gina Waters-Payne in Fox comedy series 'Martin' and as Janet in 'My Wife and Kids.' She received NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for the latter.
