A girl named Ally reached out to 'Catfish' hosts Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford to help a pal out. She wrote to the hosts on behalf of her friend Brooklyn. Brookly was on the dating app 'Plenty of Fish' where she met a guy named Jason who lived in Ohio. While describing Jason, Ally said that he first came across as the perfect guy. He was an ENT, handsome and caring, and a good father, Ally had written in her email about Jason. Everything was going great for the couple, he was great on paper, but he never really agreed to pick the phone up to talk to Brooklyn. He even pushed away from her requests to Facetime her and every time just made up some excuses and pretended to be too busy to have time for any of that.

When the Covid-19 pandemic struck, he even added that to his string of excuses saying he just doesn't have time as he's also been working on Sunday during the pandemic.

Brooklyn figured out that it not worth staying in a relationship of this sort and she warned Jason that she'd walk away if he didn't step his game up and made more efforts. Her words fell on deaf years and she couldn't get him on the phone even after the warning. So she walked away from the situation and once again entered the dating pool where she once again found the perfect person and she was moving ahead in life with him. She even began posting photos with him online and it seems like Jason got a whiff of her new relationship. After having been out of contact for a couple of months, Jason tried to reconnect after seeing Brooklyn's photos with the new guy. He sent her messages to the effect of "miss you and the kids." Brookly had fully moved on, at least what she thought. However, a message from her ex brought back some memories leading her to believe that she won't be able to fully move on till she figures out Jason's deal.

To help Brooklyn figure out her status quo with Jason, Ally reached out to 'Catfish' hosts Nev Schulman and Kamie Crawford so that her friend could have clarity and move ahead with her life without any hiccups. Will they be able to find out the reason why Jason never got on the phone with Brooklyn? Was he a catfish? or just really busy? Tune in to the episode to find out.

'Catfish' airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
