'Bull' is returning after a two-week break with another exciting episode that involves an emergency room doctor who has been sued for malpractice. The synopsis for the upcoming episode reads, "An emergency room doctor is sued for malpractice after she ignored direct orders to save one near-death patient in favor of helping another who was also critically injured."

In the previous episode, Bull encountered a peculiar case. A pastor had been accused of murdering his wife, and to the world, he would have a motive. The pastor makes a surprising declaration to Bull, that he is gay. And, another twist: his wife Olivia was too. Bull and Benny Colon (Freddy Rodriguez) struggle to save him from the trap, but it wasn't easy at all.

The pastor had not revealed to Bull about his wife's sexuality, as he believed that she had a right to her privacy. He doesn't want to drag his own lover into the legal implications either.

A lot of things have happened this season, including Marissa (Geneva Carr) being accused of fraud due to her estranged husband Greg's negligence. Nevertheless, at the end of a stressful episode, he surrenders and she is acquitted. Prior to this, Chunk and Benny found themselves on the opposite sides of a case, which led to conflict in the TAC.

Bull features Michael Weatherly as Dr Jason Bull in a drama inspired by the early career of Dr Phil McGraw, the founder of one of the most prolific trial-consulting firms of all time. Smart as a tick and charming, Bull combines psychology, human intuition and high-tech data to understand jurors, attorneys and witnesses. In the latest season, Bull struggles with his personal life as he balances fatherhood along with his renewed relationship with Izzy Colon (Yara Martinez), his ex-wife.

In the Christmas episode, Izzy proposed to him and viewers are hoping for a wedding soon. In the latest turn of events, his close friend Benny might just be leaving the TAC to run for DA. Fans have reason to believe that Benny might leave the show, as Chunk (Christopher Jackson) seems to be taking center stage more often than not. 'Bull' airs on CBS on Mondays at 10 pm.
