BTS has been breaking all records left and right, in the news for their charting on, not one, but nine Billboard year-end charts and all at the Number 1 position. While the septet is killing it on the charts, front, they are also surprising fans with the best gifts as the entire world succumbs to the holiday spirit, getting ready for the first seemingly normal Christmas in two years.

On December 3, BTS released the Holiday Remix of their hit single ‘Butter’ without any prior warning and the fans were caught off-guard. Then, they dropped the news that the seven members would perform at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. Currently, BTS is trending for their rocking performance on the show. But that is not the only big thing this week as BTS has now also recorded the biggest boxscore in the last decade, all thanks to their four-day concert in LA titled, ‘PTD on Stage’

BTS grosses over 33 million USD

The K-pop group BTS is currently the most successful boy group in the world and they have also just completed their successful 4-day concert event in the US. Just how successful it was came to light when the ticket sales figures were released. With their four-day LA concert, ‘Permission to Dance on Stage’ (PTD on Stage), the group became the first music act to sell out four full shows at SoFi stadium.

On December 3, Billboard made the announcement that BTS grossed approximately 33.3 million USD (40 billion KRW). It is reported that BTS sold over 214k concert tickets during their four-day concert. After making a comeback in 2021 with their first concert since 2019, BTS is now the first non-English act to gross over 20 million USD.

'Bots can't do that!'

ARMYs are overwhelmed by the news and have started talking about the way BTS has been successfully breaking all records. One fan said, "4 shows. 214,00 tickets sold. $33.3 million grossed revenue. Welcome, first time to BTS?" Another fan joked, "Bots can't do that." One ARMY pointed out, "155.61 per ticket? I believe the real number is way higher than 33.3 million dollars based on the seat costs original and resale prices."

One fan said, "Earnings would be even higher if all the scalping was taken into consideration." One smug ARMY said, "33.3$ million concert tickets sold and they have the nerves to call us bots look who’s laughing now." One fan said, "It's extremely wholesome how Seokjin ends their stay in LA after BTS gracing the news for every single day ever since their stay in LA from AMAs, sold out stadium show for 4 days that generated 68 Million tweets globally and earned over $33.3M, with a song about Tuna." One fan argued, "Thank you, like desperation for what? They just made a holiday version they don’t need it to chart. Somebody clearly didn’t see the 33 million they just pulled in from 4 dates at sofi."
