BTS Jungkook shows peak fanboy behavior by attending IU's concert for two consecutive days with J-Hope

Fans of BTS were shocked but not surprised to see Jungkook attend his favorite idol, soloist IU's 14th debut anniversary concert, 'The Golden Hour'

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: Veteran ARMYs (fans of BTS) who started following the boy group in the early days of its debut will be sure to know that BTS' maknae, Jungkook has one ideal type and it is none other than soloist and actress, IU (Lee Ji-eun). IU made her debut on September 18, 2008, and over her years in the industry has come to be one of the most powerful Korean solo artists. Dubbed the Nation's sister, IU has a charming personality which proves why many idols love and adore the singer.

One such idol who adores IU is BTS' Jungkook who has been very vocal about his admiration for IU over the years. On September 17, IU hosted her 14th Debut Anniversary Concert titled 'The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun', her first in-person show in three years. The concert took place over two days: September 17 and 18 and as one could have guessed, IU's Number 1 fanboy, Jungkook was in attendance on both days with BTS J-Hope accompanying him.

BTS Jungkook and J-Hope attend IU's concert

The 2022 'The Golden Hour' concert was IU's first in-person show after three years since the pandemic which was finally held after a lot of back and forth. The show was held at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul and saw many K-pop idols along with fans in attendance at the event. IU's concert was record-breaking as she became the first female K-pop soloist to sell out 50,000 seats of the stadium for both concert days. J-Hope who recently appeared on IU's talk show, 'IU's Pallette' flaunted his golden hour bracelet on his Instagram account.

However, fans were extremely happy to learn that J-Hope did not go alone to the concert but was accompanied by Jungkook, who is known to be a die-hard IU fan. Fans who were at the event shared behind-the-scenes videos and photos of Jungkook at the concert as he showed peak fanboy behavior by attending the two-day show on both consecutive days. A video of a skippy Jungkook walking inside the stadium is doing the rounds on the internet and fans are swooning over the BTS member being excited and giddy over attending IU's concert.

'Jungkook is IU's loyal fanboy'

Fans are swooning over Jungkook's loyal admiration of IU as he attends her concert on both days. One fan said, "Jungkook attending iu's concert is so sweet considering how he's been a fan since forever. hope my jungkookie had the best time at iu’s concert ill cry rn omg." Another fan said, "Jungkook also went to iu's concert day 2 too what a cute fanboy!!" One more fan said, "Jungkook day1 and day2 attending IU concert. He is forever no1 IU loyal fanboy and uaena. No one on his level."

A fan said, "Jungkook being a fan of IU even before his debut and he even sang IU debut song when his audition, he look so happy & supportive when IU won daesang at melon 2017 & now even attend IU first concert at jamsil stadium. he such a loyal fanboy."
