'Bless the Harts' chronicles the life of a working-class family living in North Carolina. The lead character, Jenny Hart, who struggles financially as a waitress lies with her daughter, Violet Hart, her mother Betty Hart, and her daughter's boyfriend Wayne. According to reports, the creator, Emily Spivey, had revealed that the series is loosely based on her life when she grew up. The second season of the animated sitcom is set to feature guest appearances from Natasha Lyonne, Kristen Schaal, Ken Jeong and Holly Hunter. According to reports, the "character designs" have gone through major changes in the upcoming seasons compared to its debut.

The sitcom chronicles the lives of this little family, and with its first season being a hit, we expect the comedy to continue its single hilarious plotlines in this 30-minute episodes. Just like it's debut season, we expect to see the family's life unfold as they continue to make ends meet with Jenny works hard to help support her family. From the previous episodes, we know that Betty has an affinity for lottery cards and scams with Violet and Wayne not helping much of the situations with the shenanigans. While the details of Season 2 is yet to be released, we expect the season to unfold just like its counterpart animated series with featured hilarity with one key sentiment - wealth isn't always about money.

The official synopsis of the animated series states: "In the series, Jenny Hart is a single mother supporting her family working as a waitress in the small town of Greenpoint, NC. While Jenny's the head of her family, she’s often at odds with, or scheming with, her lottery scratcher-obsessed mother, Betty, and her witty, creative daughter, Violet. Jenny's doting, eternal optimist boyfriend of 10 years, Wayne Edwards, is the love of her life and a surrogate father to Violet. He's a charming dreamer who may never hit the big time, but he's not going to give up the fight. Jenny’s even got a bit of divine power in her corner, as Jesus regularly appears to her while she waits tables at the neighborhood restaurant The Last Supper. In the end, the Harts may not have much, but they may just have everything they need."

The network is yet to release an official trailer for Season 2 of 'Bless the Harts' but you can watch the released preview below. The first episode (eleventh overall) of the second season is titled 'Violet's Secret'.

The Season 2 of 'Bless the Harts' will return to Fox on Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 8.30 pm.
