K-pop girl group Blackpink has some amazing songs that are loved by fans all over the world. Their first studio album called ‘The Album’ was released in 2020, four years after their debut, and it broke records as they entered several reputable charts including Billboard. They also have their second documentary ‘Blackpink: The Movie’ dropping in August as part of their five-year anniversary celebration. Not only that, there has also been some buzz about Lisa’s future ventures.

While the group hasn’t released any music together this year, they have been busy. A couple of weeks ago, Jennie and Rosé were seen hanging out in Los Angeles while working on some music and maybe some collaborative projects. Jisoo too has landed her first acting gig with the K-drama ‘Snowdrop’. So what has Lisa, the youngest member of the group, been up to?

Lisa to soon debut solo project

YG Entertainment had announced that the girls would be releasing solo projects soon. Rosé’s solo debut was well-received as she dropped her first single album ‘R’ back in March. Well, the next member happens to be none other than the group’s rapper and main dancer, Lisa. She will be the third member to have a solo debut with Jennie being the first one to debut in 2018.

Besides releasing music with Blackpink, Lisa has also appeared as a mentor on Chinese survival shows such as 'Youth With You'. Along with that, she also has a dance project on her YouTube channel where she has been uploading dance covers since 2019. Back in April 2021, YG announced that she had also started working on her solo debut, which was due this summer.

A Korean outlet announced on July 12 that Lisa had reportedly begun filming the music video for her solo debut. This was enough for fans to start speculating what to expect from her solo debut project. The Thai idol has been known for her smooth dance moves and rap filled with swagger. Many also believe that her dance covers could give us hints about what to expect from her solo music video, which is bound to have a strong performance.

Fans went crazy as the realization hit that Lisa will soon make her solo debut. Blinks took to Twitter to trend ‘LISA SOLO SOON’ as they hyped her up. One fan tweeted, “So we’re finally at lisa solo era omg i have waited for so long.” Another fan tweeted, “She must have 50 songs in her solo that's why she be hiding for too long.” One tweeted, “I'm sure Lalisa's solo debut will end everyone. I'm so excited for heeeeer.” Many also called her a summer queen, as her solo is just one of the much-anticipated projects of this summer, “She's going to save summer we woooon!!”
