Since the very beginning of 'Black Lightning' Season 3, the Pierce family has been severely fractured. Both Anissa Pierce aka Blackbird (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer Pierce aka Lightning (China Anne McClain) have made some questionable choices ever since the ASA began occupying Freeland and that has led to some tension with their dad Jefferson Pierce aka Black Lightning (Cress Williams).

Thankfully, it looks like the rift is at least partially being healed now that Jennifer has realized she was being tricked by Agent Odell (Bill Duke). A new sneak peek from Episode 11 released online by The CW on January 27 shows Jennifer and Jefferson talking out their differences.

Jefferson knew that Jennifer had got a new suit from Odell but in the clip, she reveals to him that she also worked as a soldier for the ASA, finding and killing Markovian targets. Jefferson is shocked to find out that his daughter is a killer but he's still forgiving and at least partly blames himself for her taking such a dark path.

But even though she might not want to work for the ASA anymore, that doesn't mean Jennifer is against killing. In fact, she's pretty hell-bent on killing the person who tore their family apart: Agent Odell. Jefferson clearly wants to steer her away from the murderous path she's currently on but only time will tell if he actually manages to convince her.

Here's the synopsis for the episode: "THE HUNT – Jefferson (Cress Williams), Anissa (Nafessa Williams) and Jennifer (China Anne McClain) discover that the ASA is now hunting the entire Pierce family."

"Meanwhile, Lynn (Christine Adams) does the unthinkable. Cress Williams, Nafessa Williams, James Remar, Damon Gupton, Marvin Jones III and Jordan Calloway also star. Tasha Smith directed the episode written by Lamont Magee," the synopsis added.

'Black Lightning' Season 3 Episode 11 'The Book of Markovia: Chapter Two' will air exclusively on The CW on January 27.
