The reality show demonstrates the pain and struggle that goes into running the two businesses smoothly. If that isn't enough, the couple has experienced their share of trauma as well. Expecting their baby, Summer, in October 2019, they faced a significant health scare when they learned that the baby could be born with spinal bifida. In another instance, Emani herself came forward and informed the audience on the show that Mitchell cheated on her a few years ago and that she still felt jealousy.

Mitchell recently posted a picture and wrote, "There’s many decisions I’m Unsure about but marrying you isn’t one. I knew this was FOREVER 8 years ago when I drove two hours in a hurricane to pick you up😂 You moved across the country with me, away from your family for me. Believing in my vision. You fought to stay by my side in my darkest time when Kev passed & I lost care for everything. You put your dreams to the side to help me build Happy Ice. Most of all you gave me the best gift of my life @summermitchellll. You continuously prove to me how much you love and care for me. You & I changed as people to be better for each other which is priceless. I love you @danielleemani 💛 #Mitchells."

Although Mitchell has made it clear how much Danielle means to him, their relationship has had several ups and downs. However, after a tumultuous time in their relationship, the couple is now in a great place. The couple recently welcomed their second daughter, Sage, and it seems nothing can stop their success. In addition, they have an exciting wedding to plan as well.
