'Black Ink Crew Compton' Season 2 Episode 1: Kirkpatrick plans to open his tattoo shop

Following the pandemic, the team is all set to open up their new tattoo shop but will their thoughts combine together for making it possible

The American reality series 'Black in Crew: Compton' Season 2 is back on the screens. The show follows everyday operations and crew drama at IAM Compton, which is a tattoo business owned and works under the guidance of African Americans in Compton, California. 

The viewers will be able to see how Kirkpatrick (KP) and his team aren't only running a company. Still, they are also working on redefining how the rest of the world perceives their own. Along with his squad, KP is attempting to raise his community and restore his status and the crew's leader. In Episode 1 of Season 2, the audience was able to see the new cast of the show. Although the cast members are filled with the energy to open their new tattoo shop, their past lives and different opinions bring many complications in their lives. KP and Tim, along with his team, are trying to reopen the IAM shop. Still, they have a fractured staff that has questionable allegiances. Alana is back in LA and all ready to dive into tattooing. Nessie and Vindu are also unsure whether the shop is a welcoming option for employment. Amongst all the team members, Ink Drippin was the one who was most confused about the shop. Ink Drippin is such a ladies' man, and moreover, he also had a bad past. Ink Drippin had been through a difficult childhood, and during the pandemic, he was jobless. Things became worse for him when his Mexican mother was shunned for being with his black father.

Ink Drippin's grandmother was also not well for the past many years, and this was also making him feel wrong about everything. So ink Drippin was hoping that the new tattoo shop would solve all his problems and would give him a better life. Although he was unsure whether everything would work according to plan or not.
