The popular VH1 series 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' will return on Tuesday, August 9. This season follows Ryan Henry and others as they usher in a new era for the Chicago franchise and discover how to navigate their new surroundings.
This season, with an enlarged 9Mag workforce, is intended to feature more drama, real-life challenges, and achievements, all in the hopes of achieving greater heights of success as a famous Black-owned Tattoo business. As per a press release, Ryan will be pushing the reset button this season, severing old relationships while welcoming new chances. After years of self-improvement through his physical and mental health journey, viewers may expect to see him entertain the possibility of finding love again this season, after a few failed relationships. His priority this time is to continue extending and enhancing his brand. Although it is not always so simple.

Who is Nina Marie?
The majority of the drama in 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' occurs on the film. After Ryan's ex-best buddy, Anthony Lindsey, exposed him for sleeping with his on-and-off girlfriend, Nina Marie, in October 2020, social media flared. Ryan has since apologized, but his image has suffered greatly. In the previous season, which aired on October 4, 2021, Ryan revealed additional information on the incident with Charmaine Bey.
Ryan said in Season 7 that Anthony discovered the affair by having his kid (Ryan's godson) rummage through Nina's phone while she was bathing. Anthony then told Ryan's on-and-off girlfriend, Rachel James, about the facts and turned to social media to call him out on his misdeeds. Ryan, as one could expect, was slammed online. He realizes he made a tremendous mistake and quickly accepts responsibility for his actions. "I messed up, I know what I did," Ryan said. "I was trying to fill voids from the things I was going through with Rachel and myself. I had to learn how to take that accountability when I never did before."
As Ryan and Charmaine discussed the affair, she expressed her belief that the world will not allow him to move on from the incident. Although Ryan and Charmaine are good friends, she held him accountable for his behavior. “Ryan, having some type of relationship with his best friend’s baby mama… Is Ryan wrong? Absolutely. Is it a f***ed-up situation? Absolutely. But, Ryan knows that” Charmaine pointed out.
Charmaine's feelings regarding Ryan's infidelity are echoed by fans of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago.' Many people have questioned Ryan's commitment and honesty as a man because he has a history of cheating on Rachel, most famously with former colleague and friend Katrina "KatTat" Jackson.
Nina Marie addressed the infidelity issue involving 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' actor Ryan Henry shortly after the drama was exposed. According to Celebrity Insider, Nina admitted to betraying Anthony Lindsey with his closest buddy, who is also the godfather of their shared kid, Caydenn. Nevertheless, after being chastised on social media for being cruel to Anthony, she sought to present a more truthful image of the event, alleging that she had been physically mistreated before the adultery. She blamed her conduct on the alleged abuse to some extent. She also stated that, despite being together for over three years, only the first eight months were truly great, contrary to popular belief. Nina appeared calm about the situation, and she advised Anthony's followers to move on and seize the alleged bullying and threats on social media.
Anthony then shared a snapshot of a conversation he had with Nina. He stated that the abuse was initiated by Nina and not the other way around.
