After years of inactivity, VIPs (BIGBANG’s fandom) are finally being well-fed with a barrage of content. We first had T.O.P gracing the cover of Prestige magazine followed by promises of a new solo project soon. The K-pop group then did what many had thought was impossible and reunited after 5 years. BIGBANG released the single ‘Still Life’ which went on to top charts and get them their 100th music show win proving that the iconic boy group deserved the title ‘Kings of K-pop’ that had been given to them back in the 2010s. And now, G-Dragon is busy as Chanel’s brand ambassador.

On May 5, VIPs were pleasantly surprised to see G-Dragon being invited to Chanel’s fashion show in Monaco. As the first K-pop brand ambassador of the luxury fashion house, the BIGBANG star was in the front row for Chanel’s Cruise 2022/23 Collection on the harbour of Monte Carlo. G-Dragon looked dashing in a colorful outfit perfect for spring as he sported a floral blue cardigan layered with pearls. He also happened to be the only Asian celebrity at the fashion show. However, his appearance had some worried as he looked thinner than the last time fans had seen him.

G-Dragon’s appearance has many worried

Previously, many had voiced their concern over Daesung’s drastic change as it looked like he had immensely slimmed down in the ‘Still Life’ music video. And now at the Chanel fashion show, VIPs are pointing out that G-Dragon looks small and frail. Knetizens felt the same and made the photographs of the event go viral as they made posts like, “Why does he look so thin and short?” One Knetz asked, “He looks so skinny. Has he always been like this?”

‘I don't remember him being this thin’

Another said, “He looks like someone who's been going through something because it feels like there's no more sparks from him 🤔 he feels... dark for some reason.” One user added, “Yeah he doesn't really look in good shape. And i feel like he also looks much skinnier than he used to be which contributes to make him look sickly/aged.” Another fan shared, “I know he was always on the thin side but I don't remember him being this thin.” However, some fans are slamming back for body-shaming G-Dragon, “Its hypocritical to preach body positivity but turn around a shame gd for looking short and frail .. there's nothing wrong with looking feminine nor short nor skinny ... Like i get that yall hate him but shaming him for hus physical appearences is NOT IT .. u cant drag people for the way they r born.” Another posted, “Y'all do know that just because its gd doesn't mean you get a free pass to body shame right?”
