LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Big Brother' Season 26 continued with the exciting premiere of the CBS show and introduced the remaining eight houseguests in part 2. However, Ainsley the AI bot's secret was revealed in front of the new players who voted her off thinking she was another houseguest.

The eight houseguests were tested by Ainsley the AI bot and asked to vote 'yes' or 'no' if they wanted to bring her into the game. However, players voting for Ainsley received the option of an upgrade and the players who voted against the bot competed to save themselves from being downgraded.

CBS show host, Julie Chen Moonves, claimed that Ainsley's dreams were truly 'crushed' as she received 6 ‘no’ and only two 'yes'. However, the players were left stunned when Ainsley transformed into the artificial intelligence bot. There were more surprises and shocking twists featured in the latest episode. We have packed a recap of the 'Big Brother' Season 26 Part 2 premiere highlighting the key moments.

'Big Brother' Season 26 premiere part 2 kicks off with a slight delay

'Big Brother' Season 26 viewers have to wait a bit longer to catch up on the part 2 premiere. CBS announced the last-minute schedule shake-up and revealed that the delay in airing the episode was because of the Republican National Convention.

However, the viewers also have a surprise on the line as 'Big Brother' Episode 3 will be 90 minutes long featuring more drama. Additionally, there will be a big change to the nominations and evictions during the upcoming episode.

'Big Brother' Season 26 Group 2 enters the house

'Big Brother' Season 26 Group 2 arrived in the house during part 2 of the premiere. This second group of eight houseguests included Quinn Martin, a nurse recruiter, Brooklyn Rivera, a business administrator, Matt Hardeman, an account executive, Lisa Weintraub, a celebrity chef, and, Leah Peters, a VIP cocktail server.

The group also has Cedric Hodges, a former marine, T'Kor Clottey, a small business owner and Kenney Kelley, a police officer. Quinn, T'Kor, Matt, and Leah were told to enter the house first and Cedric, Lisa, Brooklyn, and Kenney arrived together.

Leah admitted to the private cameras that Matt was attractive, but could see herself working with Quinn. Meanwhile, Cedric told the private cams, "I got a good feeling about Kenney." They met in the backyard and host Julie Chen-Moonves informed them that the other eight houseguests had already moved in.

Quinn Martin won the 'Upgrade Chip Installed' challenge

Quinn Martin arrived in the 'Big Brother' Season 26 house with a target of winning a 'comically sized check' of $750k. However, he has already started playing his game and won the first challenge, 'Upgrade Chip Installed'. During the competition, Quinn and the other housemates were required to remove chips from the wall and input them into the motherboard.

However, the twist was that the players needed to complete the challenge while the entire set was rotating around. Quinn struggled to manoeuvre around inside the rotating set but he notably managed to finish the task in just 54 seconds. Quinn earned the opportunity to get the Deepfake HOH and America's Veto.

'Big Brother' Season 26 houseguest Leah Peters voted for Ainsley and suggested that she could be a 'threat' to her game. However, she competed in the Upgrade challenge but lost the competition by just 9 seconds. The CBS show contestant showed her competitive skills in the challenge.

She played the game seriously and also hit the wall hard at one point. Leah managed to complete the task in 63 seconds but sadly was defeated by Quinn Martin in the competition.

Cedric Hodges competes for Veto in 'Facial Recognition' challenge

Cedric Hodges competed in the 'downgrade competition' as he voted no for Ainsley. The downgrade comp was titled, 'Facial Recognition' and he had to transfer three discs into receptacles along tracks using only their faces.

The challenge was a physical comp involving moving pieces through a maze with their face to a certain location. However, the disc was quite slippery and he completed the task in the slowest time and got hit with the downgrade. Cedric now could not compete for Head of Household or Veto but they can be nominated and evicted.
