Plot
"Friendships are tested, finances are strapped, but through the turmoil, laughter, and tears, these ladies are the ultimate survivors and their stories prove there is never a dull moment in the hustle," reads the show's description on WE tv website.
This season, Ms Dime, Angel Kake, Empress, Lyric, Virgo, Gigi Maguire, Ya Ya, Tresure and Milk Marie "Pinky" are dealing with a world that is changing along with their businesses. Everyone is feeling the stress of quarantine, staying masked-up and healthy while keeping the bills paid in this new Covid reality. Now that the city of Atlanta has reopened, the women face these challenges as well as the pressure on their friendships, relationships and professional lives. Always hustling, the women embark on their own individual journeys to transition from the club and establish new and better lives. However, with these changes come secrets and a web of lies the women have kept hidden from the world, and sometimes from themselves.
Cast
Ms Dime, Angel Kake, Empress Wildflower, Lyric Belleza, Virgo, Gigi Maguire, Ya Ya, Tresure Price and Milk Marie "Pinky" will be featured on the show. In an interview with Atlanta Journal Consitution, Ms Dime explained why she did the show. "The exposure provides more opportunities. But the downfall is how you carry yourself. I know I lost my cool a couple of times. This special was shot around June. I had been furloughed from my job. My boyfriend had just come from prison. There was a lot going on. And there are a lot of new girls on the show trying to prove themselves. They are in an alliance. Them vs. me. I won’t back down. I’m an alpha female!" shared the star.
