LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's time for 'Venom' fans to rejoice the Ruben Fleischer's movie is under the pre-production phase and will be gracing us soon. By the end of 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage', Eddie Brock (played by Tom Hardy), who plays host to the alien symbiote Venom, takes Venom on vacation. Throughout the movie, the two have been bickering like a married couple and at the end, they seem to have decided to live peaceably together.

However, the post-credits scene gives the audience the glimpse of our favourite Marvel hero 'Spiderman' on the TV screen. Does that hint on what's to happen in 'Venom 3'? There is no official release date for 'Venom 3'. But, the good news is that Kelly Marcel was officially asked to direct and write 'Venom 3' in October last year.

Tom Hardy working on 'Venom 3'

Tom Hardy took to Instagram to slyly share the news about his latest project 'Venom 3' being under pre-production. "Whilst working on V3 pre prep @lelping @sonypictures @sony @venommovie this throwback came up #cuttingroomfloor #byetom #thankstom," read the Instagram caption attached to a deleted scene from 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage', featuring Eddie and the Symbiote having a hilarious conversation.

After the news broke out about 'Venom 3', fans took to Twitter to express their excitement as a fan wrote, "Hot take both Venom movies are better than most of the MCU." "I Hope the movie will be longer than Venom 2, disappointed with the 1 hour 30 minutes runtime & that @HasbroPulse didn't gave us a #MarvelLegends figure of #Carnage to go along with the ML Movie Venom #TomHardy #VENOM #WeAreVenom," added another.

While some users took the pre-production news with gaiety, some were dumbfounded and questioned if 'Venom 2' is out yet. One user shared, "Three? When did Two come out?! Sorry, I’ve been out of commission for a couple months. Still catching up." Whilst, another cheery user commenting, "Best thing I’ve read all day."

With positive responses, fans shared their excitement with memes and images that best showed their anicipation for the Triology, "We won," commented a user with a dancing GIF. "We will be watching. But if you guys don't wanna watch, that's fine I will be watching." added another user.

'These things usually come in threes'

Sony continuing with the Triology isn't surprising taking into consideration the phenomenal performance of 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' with a respectable $506.9 million at the worldwide box office. When asked about the franchise's future back in October 2021, Hardy explained to Digital Spy, saying: "These things [usually] come in threes. If there's going to be a new one – and they depend heavily on the success of each individual one, so you can't count on them ever happening again – everyone has got to be as if it was the last one. But I think it's really important, if you go into something, thinking that one, two and three are the same... the same story, the same film. So that you don't surprise yourself by being caught out by suddenly having to do a third from nowhere."
