Following Gabriela Barragan's abrupt decision to leave 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', if Ashey Marti thought that the coast was clear for her to continue pursuing first officer Gary King, then she couldn't be more wrong. It looks like Gabriela's replacement Scarlett Bentley might be Ashley's new rival when it comes to wooing Gary.
Despite Gary's reluctance to hook up with Ashley citing her tendency to get attached, the stewardess managed to get in bed with him after he got drunk. In the mid-season trailer clip released by Bravo, we see Ashley insisting that Gary and she hooked up, while he continues to be in denial about it. To make matters messy, Gary is then spotted sharing a steamy kiss with Scarlett in the hot tub. Well, it looks like the new stewardess is going to be serving us some fresh drama! Who is Scarlett Bentley?
Scarlett is a 27-year-old Instagram influencer/ marketing and PR manager. According to her Bravo bio, the blonde bombshell is originally from Arkansas, though she currently resides in San Diego, California. According to her LinkedIn profile, she graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in business marketing and information systems in 2018. Following her graduation she moved to California for her new job, which is where she discovered her love for water.
She traded in her marketing job to pursue her passion for life at sea, which led her into the glitzy world of yachting. Aside from enjoying life on the seas, Scarlett is also a micro-influencer on Instagram with 10.5 followers. Like her fellow influencers, Scarlett's feed is pretty aesthetic peppered with her bikini shots in exotic locales.
She describes herself as 'lifestyle content creator' on her Collabstr page where she also listed out her charges for promoting a brand or product on her social media. She currently charges between $100 to $250, though we believe this price is only set to see an upward trend after becoming a reality star.
With only two years of experience in the yachting industry, Scarlett is ready to take on her next adventure aboard Parsifal III. We will have to watch the show to see who chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher picks as the second stew between Ashley and her.
