It looks like Ashley Marti, the third stew on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht', is learning the harsh reality of working on a yacht

From the outside, working on a luxury superyacht might sound glitzy and glamorous as the crew not only gets to travel to exotic locations but also hobnob with the top 1%. But the reality of working on a luxury yacht is a different story. The crew members are responsible for not only keeping the yacht prim and proper but also ensuring the safety of the guests and catering to all their bizarre requests and demands. It looks like Ashley Marti, the third stew on 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' is learning this harsh reality the hard way.

The self-proclaimed 'extremely competitive' stewardess was taken aback when she was appointed the third stew by chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher, while Gabriela Barragan, who possessed a similar work experience level as her, was picked as the second stew. This rubbed off Ashley the wrong way and felt that the hierarchy was arbitrary as both of them pretty much do the same job, so they should be on a similar rank. Instead of working hard and going the extra mile to prove that she should be made the second stew instead, Ashley resorted to not only barely doing any work but also constantly complaining about the nature of her work.

After watching Ashley's poor work ethic, several fans took to Twitter to call her out. A fan tweeted, "Does Ashley ever do any work? And she seems to think she's all that for some reason? "Ashley complaining but doesn’t actually do the work #belowdecksailing", commented a fan.

Another fan shared, "Ashley you're 3rd stew. The entire deck crew is above you by rank. You don't give orders to others. Another one that isn't there to work #BelowDeckSailing." "Why are the guys entertaining Ashley? She’s THIRD STEW! Do your job and shut your yap! She’s the epitome of delusions of grandeur. #belowdecksailing," pointed out a fan.
