'Below Deck Med’ star Elena Dubaich takes Joe Bradley to task for ill-timed comment that infuriated her
ATHENS, GREECE: During the most recent episode of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 9, deckhand Joe Bradley showcased his comedic chops by composing a humorous tune that poked fun at the romantic entanglement he found himself in with fellow stews Elena "Ellie" Dubaich and Bri Muller. The song cleverly captured the playful yet complex nature of their love triangle, offering a moment of lighthearted relief amid the on-board drama.
As Nathan Gallagher and Iain Maclean were occupied with preparations for charter guest Coleen Otero's birthday celebration, Joe took a moment to sit at the piano and contemplate performing a musical number for the event.
Soon, Elena entered and said, "We need a bunch of candles that's what we're missing." Nathan then mentioned they were planning to create a musical composition. "Oh Bri, don't be upset about Elle. Is it gonna be Bri or Ellie? I have already had one, now it's time for two," Joe playfully sang as he teased about his romantic dilemma while vacationing at Mustique.
Upon hearing the melody, Elena remarked, "Enjoying the music." Nathan, seeking validation, asked her, "Do you like our song?" Elena replied by saying, "Beautiful I think I've heard a lot." Joe chimed in, "It's a little joke with the boys."
In a confessional, Elena vented her frustration, saying, "This mother****er. Oh he has got a bit of attention from me one time and now he can get whoever he wants and I'm like not me. I'm dried up."

In a recent, exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Elena discussed her feelings about whether she was led on by Joe. Meanwhile, Joe shared his side of the story during his appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.'
Upon rewatching the show, Elena, a stew who made her debut on 'Below Deck Med' Season 7, expressed her belief that Joe was manipulating the situation by trying to maintain relationships with both her and fellow stew Bri Muller. "Joe was kind of playing both sides," the stew said.
Elena felt deceived and led on by Joe’s actions, noting that it was clear he wasn’t being genuine with either her or Bri. However, during her time on the boat, she felt that neither she nor Bri was fully aware of his true intentions.
"Because, you know, he was kind of having these flirty moments with us, but it was always in private. Bri would never see what he was saying to me, or how he was being with me and vice versa," Elena shared. "I wish I would have had awareness of what he was doing because I would have acted completely differently, but it is what it is now," she added.

During his guest appearance on the July 8th episode of 'WWHL', Joe Bradley defended his actions of flirting with the stews by offering reasons and justifications for his behavior.
"I believe that leading on was not what my intention was. You know, I had a conversation with both of them... If I want to kiss, I want to kiss and stuff like that. I was very forward with what I wanted to do. I don't want anything to do in terms of relationships, and they know that," Joe said.
Following this, Joe took part in a segment called "Between Two Stews," where he had to choose between Elena and Bri. Joe admitted that Elena was the one who initially caught his attention, but he also confessed that he found Bri's flirting technique to be more effective.
Additionally, Joe disclosed that he had been in more frequent communication with Bri compared to Elena. Nathan shared the sentiment that Bri was unquestionably a more suitable match for him compared to Elena. "They just vibe. They just vibe together. It's like a personality clash [with Elena]," he said.
