FRISCO, TEXAS: In the highly anticipated episode 11 of 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 9, viewers will be introduced to a new primary charter guest Mahisha Dellinger. This episode marks the arrival of the sixth primary guest to join the yacht this season.

Mahisha Dellinger, born in 1973, is a multifaceted individual with roles as an entrepreneur, author, and TV host. Originally from the Meadowview neighborhood of Sacramento, California, Mahisha is renowned as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of CURLS, a thriving natural hair care brand established in 2002.

In addition to her entrepreneurial success, Mahisha Dellinger is the author of the book Against All Odds: From the Projects to the Penthouse and currently hosts Mind Your Business with Mahisha on OWN, which premiered in August 2018.

Growing up in a challenging environment in Sacramento, Mahisha Dellinger overcame significant adversity to achieve success in corporate America before founding her highly successful haircare company, CURLS. "I'm a black woman who has made it in America against all odds," she shared.

In an interview with the New York Times, Mahisha shared her advice for recent college graduates regarding their career and life choices. Mahisha encouraged individuals to strive for excellence and aim to surpass their peers to achieve success.

"Whatever you do, give it your all and your best, and do it with passion and do it with purpose. This is what I tell my oldest daughter. You have to excel and perform against your peers, above and beyond," she said.

The CURLS founder added, "You have a lot of competition out there. How are you going to stand out if you are at par or below par? You won’t. So passion and purpose are very important. This is a hard, tough world to be in as a new college grad. Do it with passion and purpose and stand out, and make yourself visible and known."
