'Behind Every Man': Release date, plot, cast and all you need to know about the returning episodes of OWN reality show
'Behind Every Man' is a reality series on OWN hosted by Melody Holt. It celebrates the women behind the famous men such as singers and rappers. The powerful women speak of their upbringing, relationships, careers, sacrifices, and life with the "most accomplished and recognizable men". Premiered on November 7, 2020, with 'Jonnetta Patton', it is set to come back for episode 6 end of January. According to reports, "each episode of the new series will shine a spotlight on the strong Black women behind famous men".

Release date
The reality series returns on January 30, 2021, with Episode 6 'Sabrina Parr' at 10 pm EST. The official synopsis reads: "As NBA player Lamar Odom's fame grows, his personal life spirals out of control until he meets the love of his life, Sabrina Parr, who gets him back on track."
Plot
According to the official synopsis of the series, it "shines the spotlight on the strong Black women behind famous men we look up to and admire, focusing on the passions, struggles and sacrifices they have made to support the men they love". These stories trace the timeline from the woman’s life from childhood through present-day profiling the hardships and challenges they had to overcome, and the moves that brought them closer to their individual or joined the achievements with the man in their lives. The series is hosted by Melody Holt ('Love & Marriage: Huntsville') with featured couples including Tammy and Kirk Franklin; singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith; Usher and his mother Jonnetta Patton and many more.
This season, according to reports, features Sabrina Parr with Lamar Odom, Faith Evans with Stevie J, Big Sean and his mother Myra Anderson, Nick "Swaggy P" Young and Keonna Green as well as Will and Heather Packer.
Cast
The series' cast has included multi-platinum R&B artist Usher and his mother Jonnetta Patton, a gospel music legend Kirk Franklin and his wife Tammy Franklin, multi-Grammy Award winner Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith, artist multi-platinum selling artist Wyclef Jean and his wife Claudinette Jean and DJ and radio host DJ Envy and his wife Gia Casey.
Episodes of Jonnetta Patton, Tammy Franklin, Crystal Smith, Claudinette Jean, and Gia Casey have already been released, starting from November 7 to December 5, 2020. The next two upcoming episodes are with Keonna Green and Sabrina Parr. Stay tuned to find out more about who the latter two are.
