Parsifal III's first officer and resident ladies' man, Gary King, is ruffling up quite a few feathers with his shenanigans on board the superyacht. Gary returned to Season 3 of 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' determined not to fall in love or pursue a relationship with the first woman that gives him attention but instead to stay focussed on his work. Sadly, Gary couldn't keep his promise for too long as his flirty nature made stewardess Ashley Marti fall for him.

When Gary realized that Ashley was a clingy person, he tried distancing himself from her but it was too late. In the meanwhile former stew Gabriela Barragan began making her moves on Gary. Gay's interest in Gabriela sparked a conflict between Ashley and her, leading to Gabriela quitting mid-season. Daisy Kelliher, the chief stew, quietly watched from the sidelines as Gary continued to toy with the feelings of her team members. But when Gary began showing interest in Gabriela's replacement stew Scarlett Bentley, Daisy got very irked. From picking a fight with Gary to venting out to Scarlett about Gary being unprofessional, Daisy went on a rampage against Gary.

When fans watched the usually calm and level-headed Daisy feel so strongly against Gary pursuing Scarlett, fans began wondering if she was jealous or feeling threatened by the new stew.
