With B.I aka Kim Hanbin’s case being closed for good, the rapper and singer is preparing for his first solo online concert in full swing. The former iKON leader had been given four years of probation, and on September 23, it was announced that neither he nor the prosecution has appealed for a new sentence. IDs (B.I’s fandom) everywhere were relieved that that chapter of his past was over and he could now focus on his solo career. And his debut solo concert is getting pretty iconic even before the concert date with the announcement of guests like Pink Sweat$ and Destiny Rogers.

B.I has been pretty busy this year with his debut solo single, solo album and collaborative tracks. His first solo album ‘Waterfall’ was a smashing hit as it topped global and domestic charts like Billboard and iTunes. He has also been featured in songs by the likes of Epik High, Lee Hi and Destiny Rogers. And while announcing the vinyl pre-orders for his album, his team accidentally revealed that he would be having a solo concert.

B.I to have special guests Pink Sweat$, Destiny Rogers, Epik High, Afgan

On August 25, B.I officially announced his first solo online concert presented by LiveXLive and his label 131Label. It will be held on October 3 at 12 pm KST (October 2 at 11 pm ET). And when the tickets for the concert were announced, the VIP tickets were sold out in two minutes. Fans have been waiting for him impatiently for a year and now that he’s back they are out to support and hype all of his ventures. And to return the favor, B.I is going all out for his solo concert.

His label announced on September 24 that B.I will be having guest acts for his concert. Pink Sweat$, long time collaborators Epik High and Afgan will be performing while Destiny Rogers will be a special guest. Back in May, B.I had teamed up with Destiny Rogers for the song ‘Got It Like That’. B.I had also marked his re-entry to the K-pop industry with Epik High’s ‘Acceptance Speech’, where his verse had dissed the music industry that had scorned him.

Pink Sweat$ has long shown his interest in K-pop with favorite groups like GOT7 and BTS and has talked about collaborating with Korean artists. Well, it looks like B.I will be one of them. Afgan, the Indonesian pop star, on the other hand quite recently teamed up with GOT7’s Jackson when the K-pop idol was on a collaborative spree in early 2021. Having released his global album 'Wallflower' a few months back, Afgan too will be one of the acts performing at B.I’s concert.
