'Autumn Girl' is yet another one set to be added to the list and chronicles the racy, amusing, and incredible talent of the Polish singer Kalina Jędrusik. A bold and beautiful actress as well she was considered a sex symbol and Poland's answer to having their very own Marilyn Monroe. But a woman in the limelight back then dealt with many problems in the society ruled by men which is what the Netflix musical will showcase. Maria Dębska as Kalina Jędrusik
Maria Dębska Polish film, theater, and television actress and is a graduate of the State Higher School of Film, Television and Theater Leon Schiller in Łódź. On a professional stage, she made her debut at the Studio Theater in Warsaw in the play 'Ripley underground' by Radosław Rychcik with her other works including 'Maria Stuart', 'Zabawa, zabawa', 'Piłsudski', 'Demon' and more.
She was the winner of the Polish Feature Film Festival in Gdynia for the leading female role in the film 'Bo we mnie jest seks'. Her family also has roots in entertainment with her being the daughter of director Kinga Dębska and marrying actor Marcin Bosak. Debska will be essaying the lead role of singer Kalina Jędrusik in 'Autumn Girl'.
Leszek Lichota
Leszek Lichota is a Polish actor who began his career in 1999. He graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw IN 2002 and started performing at the Polish Theatre in Poznań following this made his theatre debut in the role of Nany Sirbangh in Roman Jaworski's play 'Hamlet Wtóry'. His work includes ' Generał Nil', 'Niania', ' Marszałek Piłsudski', 'Quo vadis', 'Samo Życie', 'Lynch' and more.
He is more popularly known for his role as Grzegorz the soap opera 'Na Wspólnej', the 2015 war drama 'Karbala' and the 2019 film 'Corpus Christi'. He will play one of the male leads in the Netflix musical movie.
Other cast members
The rest of the cast consists of Krzysztof Zalewski, Bartlomiej Kotschedoff, Katarzyna Obidzinska, Borys Szyc, and Rafal Rutkowski.
'Autumn Girl' is set to premiere on March 8, 2022, on Netflix.
