While Ateez currently celebrates success unlike any other K-pop group from the fourth generation, Japanese Atiny’s are now getting the opportunity to see the members of the group in the online edition of the 2022 Ateez concert. On February 7, it was announced that Ateez would continue raining their fever in Japan as their 2022 ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’ tour would continue one last time in its Japanese edition.

With the rise of Ateez’s popularity not only in South Korea but in the US as well, fans of the ‘eight makes one team’ group are now witnessing Ateez take over America as the boys are currently participating in a series of interviews with US media reporters as part of the culmination of their 2022 world tour ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’. With this, Ateez also became the fourth K-pop act in history to appear in an interview with Grammy Museum on their show, ‘Global Spin Live’ on February 8.

Ateez announce the Japanese edition of 2022 concert

After the success of Ateez’s ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’ tour in Seoul as well as in 12 cities in the US, fans of the boy group can expect a grand show in Japan. As the world, especially Asia, gravely grapples with the Covid pandemic, it was announced that the Japanese edition of the Ateez concert will be held online unlike the Seoul and US in-person concerts.

It has been reported that Ateez will air ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’ Japanese Edition in a live broadcast on the Japanese network WOWOW on March 27, 2022, for Japanese fans. More details regarding the same are yet to be announced. If it were not for the increase in Covid cases, Ateez would have currently been touring Europe but the boy group was forced to cancel the third leg of their concert.

Back in 2021, Ateez released their first Japanese album ‘Into the A to Z’ which immediately entered Japan’s Oricon daily and weekly charts proving their global rise as a new generation K-pop group.

‘Make the tour happen in person’

Ateez fans from Japan are sharing bittersweet reactions as they expected an offline show but will have to attend the event online given the rise in Covid cases around the world. One fan said, "Plz make the tour happen in person one day... My Osaka ticket needs to come back to life..." Another fan saw the reactions from Japanese Atinys and said, "It's the first step j-tinys hang in there." Another fan said, "Thank you for ATINY in Japan. I am looking forward to the online concert, hoping that the day when I can meet face-to-face will come as soon as possible."

One Japanese Atiny said, "It's kind of lonely." While another responded, "Of course, I'm happy with WOWOW's LIVE and Even if it says JAPAN EDITION...I feel lonely," wishing to interact with other fans in an offline concert instead. One fan wished that Atiny's stream the online event for other fans saying, "Manifesting a tiny coming through to stream for the rest of us especially those of us who couldn't go to a concert either." Another fan said, "F**k i thought this was a japanese concert announcement."
