ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA: 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' star Emily Simpson has recently shared an update on her marriage to Shane while debunking divorce rumors. She claimed that she was still with Shane and would not be spitting anytime soon.
Emily took to her Instagram Stories and slammed a clickbait post about her and Shane's divorce. The post reads, "#BreakingNews... RHOC stars officially divorcing." However, Emily slammed the post and wrote, "Hi! We're not getting divorced! Shane is never getting rid of me! This is BS clickbait." Emily and Shane had overcome multiple ups and downs throughout their 15 years of marriage.
Additionally, Emily has recently credited 'RHOC' for their strong marriage. During a recent episode of Bravo's 'Hot Mic' podcast, Emily claimed, "I feel like us being on the show has made our marriage stronger and made us work as a unit better and made us better parents." Shane agreed with Emily adding that they have become "more dependent" on each other thanks to the Bravo show.

'RHOC' star Shane Simpson has recently provided details on the struggles of his and Emily Simpson's marriage. During the podcast episode, Emily claimed that Shane's employment struggles affected their marriage. She shared, "I think you taking the bar exam was probably the most... difficult on our relationship."
Shane agreed with Emily and noted, "That was a lot with filming, with young children, you know finances, [and] not working... It was just a lot to deal with at the same time." Shane has struggled to pass the California Bar Exam. He finally passed it in 2021 after his multiple failed attempts.

Soon after the divorce, Emily and Shane started talking on Google Chat and proposed to her. Emily previously reflected on her romance on the Bravo show and said, "He was my boss. We just talked so much and one day he was like, 'Do you want to get married?'" The couple exchanged vows on Valentine's Day in 2009 and share three kids.

Emily Simpson recently had an argument with her husband, Shane Simpson, over his unhealthy habits. During a recent episode of 'RHOC' Season 18, Emily slammed Shane and said, "I'm going to the gym too much and being too obsessive, and you're over here not doing anything." She then suggested, "So maybe we could meet in the middle and work on being healthy together."
However, Shane insisted that he didn't have time for the gym as he had to handle kids. Emily claimed that she was concerned for Shane's wellbeing especially after he complained about a pain in his chest. She admitted, "I'm just concerned because there's so many men at your age that are out on the golf course and then they just die of a heart attack."
